Sometimes the screen does go through some bible quotes a bit too fast for me. I make sure to get bible app ready incase I do need to pause and reflect. I think those moments are the most meaningful for me because then I can have a personal conversation with God; so don't worry if the pastor doesn't get your message every Sunday, just know that if your intentions are family focused, community friendly, and you come to church with an open mind and an open heart, you will find the right message from God. I assumed it would feel like a church but it was quite nice and suited our needs perfectly. The screen and sound system was top notch and there was plenty of space for all the tables, food, photo booth, awards table, etc. Nice venue and was clean and fully functional. Would work very well for large parties, banquets, etc. we had over 120 people for our banquet with room to spare. Parking lot was more than sufficient as well since it was a Saturday evening and most of the other businesses were closed.

I applied to Southwest Christian Academy because I was excited, truly excited, to raise my son as a God-fearing Christian. The world is full of degeneracy and I only trust Christians to teach my child. I thought I had finally found the place. I paid the $100 non-refundable application fee and signed their form, which requires payment before any tour and says a tour is not guaranteed. I never got a tour. Nobody from this program ever met me, my wife, or my son. Then I received an email saying my family is not a good fit. Not a good fit based on what? They have never seen my son's face. All they had was an application and a few emails where I asked normal questions about addresses, what their hybrid school system is. I believed God opens His hand to anyone who comes seeking. It turns out this program does not. I still have not told my son. I do not know how to tell a boy who was excited to go to a Christian school that the Christians decided we were not good enough, without him being hurt. Their own paperwork says they are not a school. They kept the $100. I don't need it back either. Just remember how you made that money. Please think hard before you put your family through this.
