This is my second favorite thrifting spot in town. You do have to spend some time to find the good stuff. The staff is always super friendly, and I love that, almost always, some colored tag is 50% off. What a steal! My only two complaints are not with this location; I know they are company-wide procedure. However, I do feel as though heavily stained or broken items could be recycled instead of sold. I know it's a thrift store, but does it really pay to process, price, and relocate an item that looks like a spaghetti dinner blew up on it? I also am not a fan of the rule that if the price tag is gone it can't be sold. I understand this is to prevent shoppers from removing tags to get a "better" deal, but in reality, would it be that difficult to have a manager that could make a final call? Hell, I went in once and wanted this Hollister hoodie but the tag was gone. I didn't know of the rule at that time so they wouldn't let me buy it. I'd have been happy to give them $5 for it, but per SA policy, they couldn't sell it to me. The girl was very apologetic and it wasn't her fault. I got in my car that was parked near the back and backed out. Before I pulled toward the alley one of the guy workers stopped me and asked me if I wanted the hoodie. I offered to pay and he said no to take it. I can see where it's got to be a huge hassle to send every item back that is missing a price just to reprice and send it back out. Regardless of this, I've found some serious goodies here. Takes some work and some digging, but it's fun! read more
