Asked for the vegan option and had the choice of the daily dish (lemon risotto) or pasta pomodoro. I asked if they can add veggies or mushrooms, and the lady that took the order dropped the pen and went to clean the counter. While I appreciate the authentic Italian experience, I also appreciate lunches that keep me full. The guy took over, said "ok pasta pomodoro" and continued to take the order of my colleagues. The pasta arrived, the plate was big but the food was average and not really worth the 6,20€, because I know nicer restaurants right across the corner that would offer nicer food for the same price (and less). The colleagues who took the cannelloni were disappointed from the small size of the 3 cannelloni they received, and again the prices was fairly high (8,20€) for such a small lunch in this area. Added a picture of the pasta and the cannelloni. To summarize, crowded place during lunch, the staff is friendly if you keep it short and the dishes are ok-ish but don't justify the price.

Wonderful spot in Potsdam to pop into for lunch or a snack while doing the tourist thing. We read…read moreonline that this is the best hot chocolate and were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted as we entered the place and picked a spot out near the display case with all the wonderful pastries. All three of us ordered a hot chocolate in addition to a cherry tart and a marzipan for sharing. Before we blinked, our drinks and deserts were delivered. Let me warn you though that if you are used to American Hot Chocolate then this is different for sure. I would almost describe it as a chocolate bar melted into a cup and nothing else. Very delicious but also very sweet. I loved the cherry tart. It was amazingly fresh and delightful and my favorite of the two. My wife and daughter though fought over the marzipan and didn't think as highly of the tart. The ambiance of the place was fabulous and the folks working there super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stop back in on a future visit to Potsdam.
