When I arrived to my appointment, it was nice to see such a large salon with many stylists. Thank you Tenzin for cleaning up my long layers. Feels much better without the dead ends. I wanted something to temporarily straighten my hair and I got confused by the messages with the salon which is my fault. But now after all is said and done, I'm just upset my hair feels and looks just a little bit worse if anything 4 hours of salon time and 400$ later. The lady Angela who did it was nice and did say it wouldn't straighten my hair all the way just make it more manageable. I just am very disappointed, as one would be.

My family is new to this salon and I have to say we were excited to have a salon that offered…read moremultiple services that we enjoy. This isn't my first time having my hair done by Sherry as we have followed her as she has jumped around between several salons over the last few years, but it will be the last for me, my mother and my daughter, husband and any others I would have mentioned this salon to. Please see attached image of the result from my visit this week. Absolutely nothing close to what I've wanted or ever had done. Pretty frustrating as we all know how it feels to have something go wrong with our hair as it is such a big part of our looks. But I also know that accidents and mistakes happen. But let me also include the fact that mid appointment I was told my price had increased by 30% since the last time. Not at the time of booking. Not before the first snip of scissors. Half way through the appointment so I was trapped into paying the higher price which I had not prepared for. 30% is a huge increase to drop on someone. After this visit, and once I got home and was able to truly see my hair, I reached out to have my hair fixed as it seems fair that given the $140 charge, we could work something out as I was truly disappointed with my hair. I was able to go in the following day, even thought Sherry was not happy with me. Upon arriving, it was very clear I was there just to have a simple and quick fix by applying a simple gloss over the tops of my blonde streaks, in which it will still fade into an uneven color which I will then have to be spending more money to fix again sooner than I should have to. After leaving and assuming that we are both adults, and what I thought was a good client and friend, we could just let this be and move forward with no hard feelings (all of which should have been on my end anyway), 2 days pass and I get a text that I am being dropped as a client. That I am no longer going to be able to have my haircut by the lady who has worked on my family for years and that I followed and supported from salon to salon. I can say with confidence that this was the last visit by me or any of my family as I won't support a salon that stands behind this kind of treatment towards their paying clients. As a business owner myself, clients always come first as they pay me for a service and have expectations of fair business and communication. I feel like not only did I not come first and communication was non existent, I was also treated as I did something wrong by wanting my color fixed. There are a lot of hard working people and business's out there these days that appreciate and are grateful for work, and especially dedicated clientele. Unfortunately for this salon it won't be with anyone working there moving forward. There is simply no room for overpriced, subpar services and attitudes these days.

Chelsea saved me from more tears as I'd had my hair highlighted 2 weeks prior with another stylist (at another salon) who ruined my color. Chelsea took on the challenge - consulted with some of her colleagues to determine the best plan to best fix my coloring and executed professionally. While my color isn't where i ultimately want it to be since it'll take time to avoid damaging my hair - it is still beautiful and no more tears. Needless to say, I have a new stylist. My son had his very first haircut done here yesterday. He is not yet 2 years old, and they worked…read morewonderfully with him. They let him sit on my lap during his cut, and were very understanding and calm with him throughout the process, moving around him the whole time to let him sit however he was most comfortable. They even had one of their employees blowing bubbles to try to distract and entertain him during the cut, and offered to save a lock of his hair for me as a keepsake. Overall, I was very happy and impressed with the experience, and will definitely be going back to this location for future cuts. My husband (who has frequented several other GC locations) also had his hair cut here at the same time, and they did a great job. He loves that they can pull up his profile in their system and know just how he likes his hair cut. Overall, this is one of the better locations we've been to, (though I've not had any complaints about others) and the staff were very patient and friendly, even though they were very busy with back to school. I would recommend checking in online, but we didn't mind the wait, especially because there is a great sandwich shop right next door!

For just haircuts I usually tip well and don't bother with reviews but this time I need to. I take…read moreaccountability for bringing all my kids in, so it was a lot of chaos and noise. For the most part things went well but my daughter had a different stylist cut her hair then the rest of the kids. She(daughter) showed the style that she wanted(wolf cut/framing layers) and what she got was a mens mullet. The stylist wasn't communicating and for some reason was turned around and not facing the mirror, so she said she wasn't able to know to say something to stop it from going that short, especially on the sides. For a stylist cutting hair, I'm saddened that communication wasn't made, if they didn't feel confident that they could math my daughter's hair to the photo that she showed as inspiration. Ad a parent, I know we get what we pay for and I will take each kid in separately next time, so I can hover and advocate for my child's cut. Honestly I think we will have better luck going to a cosmetology school, where am instructor can also help verify that the cut will match what the client wants. I would upload photos but my daughter is locked in her room and crying.
