Me and my son went here once a first time and got a haircut from Sal's son. This haircut was really good and I would recommend Sal's son. Then we went a second time and Sal's son wasn't there so we decided to go with Anthony T. We told him the same things we told Sal's son but instead of giving my son a medium fade he buzzed off both sides of his hair. We also told him to leave the top longer but he also made that really short. My son's haircut looks terrible so I would not recommend Anthony T. to anyone. read more

My son is 2 years old and has Down syndrome, so I asked around our DS community for a barber with our kids in mind. Sal was recommended by a few. We knew there would be screaming and he'd be upset, which would only make it difficult for a barber. Sal was patient and told us exactly what he was going to do every step of the way. I held my son while my wife distracted him and Sal cut his hair. He cried the whole time, fought against us, but ended up with great cut and no bleeding. Definitely going back. read more

I was in the area and needing a haircut so I found Sal's on Yelp and decided to give them a try. Sal was working on a client when I got there and let me know where I was in line as there were about 4 -5 people waiting with 4 barbers on duty. I relaxed on a comfy couch and was able to use my phone thanks to Sal's free WiFi as cell coverage is spotty in that area of town. I decided to wait for Sal himself and got a haircut and shave. Chris, you will be missed. You gave a perfect hair cut every time I came in there. Today, I got a hair cut from the owners son, Anthony. I said take 2 - 2 1/2 inches off all around, no side burns, over the ear. I got a close trim all over and maybe an inch taken off the top. After 4 years of looking at my poor husband's beauty school special, uneven, "blockhead" haircuts given to him by what I can only assume were new stylists fresh out of beauty school (they gotta learn on someone LOL), I found Sal's. Thank goodness. In the maybe 6 months or so of forcing hubs to go, his cuts have been PERFECT. Age appropriate, clean, hair type appropriate, and well, he just looks damn good. You should get your hair cut here. Period. At other places, I had two bad haircuts in a row. The most recent one was some kind of wavy, inconsistent fade. Looked like I had a toupee. Left there, drove to Sal's on a tip. Sal somehow fixed it. You couldn't tell I had a bad haircut at all. Every cut after has been stellar as well. Highly recommended. read more

The barbers are okay but curse a lot while talking to each other. Avoid the barber named Mark. He has a poor attitude and is unpleasant to speak to. I would not recommend this barbershop to anyone with kids. read more

I asked for a mid fade haircut and this was the first barber shop that didn't know what a fade was. Instead he cut my hair too short on the sides and I asked for an inch off the top and he took way more off than that. And I walk out still with already cut hair all over my face. I walked in to get a haircut. One barber was busy with a customer. No other customers inside. The other was outside the store in a chair talking on his cell phone. I waited two or three minutes then went out to get something from my car. Barber still on his cell. I returned to the store and went inside, because I figured it might have been an important call. I waited five more minutes and walked out. Barber still on his cell phone, not even a "I'll be right with you". Clearly personal business comes before customers. I will never return.
