Had an appointment at 11:00am and had to reschedule to 4:30pm. Got a confirmation email for the rescheduling and left work early to go. Requested barber had already left and the remaining one was locking up to leave, more than 30 minutes before the closing time. read more

We were visiting the area. My 17 year old son is very particular about who cuts his hair, but he needed a cut before we head home since school starts soon. I set an online appt with Catherine after reading her skill set on the website. He has shoulder length wavy hair. When he arrived Catherine was on the phone, she never acknowledged him but told another girl...hey you can have my client. He is very unhappy with the cut and I am disgusted that she would not keep an appt made with her. read more

My 16 year old has tricky hair- it's super thick with several cowlicks and we struggle to find a barber who can handle it well. We went to Matthew at Melbourne Barber Shop yesterday and are so glad we did. He was nice and patient and gave my son a fabulous cut. A Master barber for sure. Thank you, Matthew! We went to this barber shop before and the haircuts were good but this time was horrible. One lady who cut my son's Zeke's hair did great but poor Gabe's hair was butchered. It was the worst cut I have ever seen. It was uneven, no fade and I asked for fohawk. Very disappointed! read more

When I was a boy I used to visit Melbourne for Christmas and summer. Since my mom grew up here I have loads of aunts, uncles, and cousins living in the area. When I needed a haircut I used to come here. Now that I have a place in the area I come here to get my hair cut. Today Sean cut my hair and he did a great job and he is a cool guy to chat with while he makes you look respectable again. Haircuts are $12, money well spent in my opinion. read more

This was my first time to this shop and will most likely be my last. I went in to get my seven year olds hair cut based on the good reviews I've seen and being so close to home. While waiting, my son picked out a haircut they had on a numbered poster. When I told the older gentleman who sat on the end my son wanted the number one hair cut on the board I got a "Are you kidding me, for him?!". It was a gentlemen's cut with a fade, a haircut he's had several times. From that rude unprofessional comment I took it that the guy just couldn't perform the cut and didn't want to be bothered with it. I can't say anything bad about the other barbers in the shop but that guy is in the wrong line of work. Didn't even let him do the cut, took my son to downtown finest where the owner angel took great care of my son and gave him the exact haircut he wanted! read more
