Despite her protest, I am writing this review on behalf of my fiancé'. She recently went in to get K-Tip hair extensions done. After spending $1,800 she came home distraught with the results. The stylist did only what could be called a lazy hair extension job. Not only were the connections inconsistent, but worse, the stylist did an absolute abysmal job blending her natural hair. Basically, left a very visible line across the middle of her hair. Here is the worst part. I understand, as does she, that things aren't always perfect. She called the next day to ask if someone could help her fix what can only be called an embarrassing extension job. The receptionist simply called the stylist and the stylist said come back in a month. Come back when it's convenient for us.... Is that how you run your Salon? A customer service-oriented business that lives and breathes by the happiness and satisfaction of your customers. Leave someone to go out in public embarrassed by what you have done for a month because you can't find time? I suggest anyone looking for a high level of skill, craftsmanship and customer service spend your money somewhere else. read more

This salon is a scam for your money. I came in with my aunt and walked out spending 400$. She has the thinnest hair and they even charged for extra product. Don't even bother looking at the level stylist as I got a level 7 and a level 1 hair stylist did a majority of the job. The hair turned out good but was definitely not a 400$ price tag. After speaking with the manager she said that was just the way they did things. And said it was just miscommunication and an expectation. Nothing to offer back for the miscommunication. If you pay more for a level 7, I would expect a level 7 hairstylist do it all. I could have just paid for Maria to do the whole thing and it would've been half the price. If you have all the money in the world definitely go. If you are not the type of person to speak up and check what you're being priced for, don't go. They take advantage! When I tell yall shocked, sick, and disappointed don't even begin to cover it. I'm not one to complain I typically just deal with it but this is wild. Spending $1300 on hair and an install just to have to pay more to have it fixed and installed the right way. From uneven parts, the wefts being uneven w my face, the Edward scissor hands "blend" job, and the wefts poking out from my scalp the day I walked out. Complaining makes me uncomfortable so I thought I could deal with it. Didn't realize the extent to how fucked up the job was done until going to someone else and having them completely restart from scratch. I went in for a Ouidad curly cut. The cut took no time at all. However, I was charged a ridiculous up charge for it. I had no issues with the price knowing it was supposed to be a special technique. I figured it was also more time consuming, it wasn't. It was one of the quickest cuts I've ever gotten. I went in with a nice cut and came out with a horrible style. I thought it was just that- the lady just did a style I wasn't used too. I came home and washed it in the products recommended and tried to fix it. I literally cried it was so bad. I'm still in the process of it growing back, so I can just resume cutting it myself again. So upset and disappointed. read more

I got my hair serviced Jan 3rd 2024 and was extremely excited reading the reviews online, my experience was interesting and overall positive, but I'm disappointed with the end result. The atmosphere was comfortable in the bowl room, but I did get cold after a while. The salon room was large and a little unorganized but overall really appealing and spacious, which in a setting like that is welcome! However, when it came to the service what I requested and what I received wasn't what I asked for. Prior I asked the service professional for their thoughts on how I should get it done and went along trusting their judgement. I really liked Rose as she was easy to talk to, funny, and incredibly friendly. When it came to the end result, I just hate how my hair turned out. And I unfortunately... feel terrible saying that. I have a wedding in a few weeks and am traveling out of state to attend the wedding. Sad to say I feel kind of embarrassed by how my hair turned out... Also the price was pretty steep for what the end result was. Ive dyed my hair many times myself and sadly feel like I could have done an equivalent job to a box dye. :( She did ask me if I liked the color to which I replied yes, however it was really hard for me to stop and say I wasn't happy with the final result because I genuinely didn't want to make her feel bad because of how great she was. I'm also pretty sure she had a client right after me and I didn't want to mess up her schedule and be annoying. I would go back to this establishment warily, definitely for a haircut, but I would really let them know what you are looking for color wise and be honest about the result. Curly Hair Sadness use to love this place but the last cut I got a couple months ago was so bad that I had to go back the next day to have them fix it and it still wasn't right (it was still kinda wet when I left, when it completely dried later OMG) ... Chin length Inverted bob on one side and straight on the other. Went back the next morning and she evened it up some but you can still see it's not right. On their Facebook page they say that they have a two week satisfaction guarantee but this is clearly not the case. If someone comes in with blonde in their hair, and asks for all over blond and leaves with dark brown roots that is obviously an issue. When she reached out to the owner, Chris, he interrupted her multiple times, very rudely asking "are you done yet", and then accused her of lying about the service she received. The stylist also outright said that she messed up, and had to re-tone her hair, and therefore would give her a hair treatment ON THE HOUSE. Salon Yeager charged her anyway, and then when this was brought up, Chris said that it was a lie, the colorist did not mess up, and she never said the olaplex treatment was free. Despite the stylist LITERALLY SAYING THAT. Chris is rude to his customers and refuses to take accountability for when his staff does a poor job. EDITED TO ADD: just so everyone knows, this salon responds to criticism by begging for 5 star reviews and calling their customers bitches on Facebook. This was my first visit with Salon Yeager who I chose as according to high reviews. After speaking to the receptionist over the phone to schedule the appointment, I decided that Miss Kelsey was the person that I wanted to cut color and style me. I had been letting my hair grow for a year and was a bit nervous to get it cut again. The whole experience was wonderful, and despite a power outage during color, she and Olivia made it work. I have never received a haircut that I loved better. She was professional, she was fun, she took the time to talk to me about the hair texture, the color and the cut to get a clear understanding of what I wanted. And boy did she deliver! This is the worst place to get your hair done in the history of the world I swear I would rather let a blind person cut my hair than ever come here. My friend was telling me about how you have to order your own extensions through their company and that's $200 and then another $200 to put them in they were 22inches to add length and fullness and the hairstylist cut them without asking and made them the length of her hair already and they they cut colored and added 4 extra colors when she didn't ask for them and it was all uneven and choppy and told her it would only be $265 then when she was finished she asked to take pictures she they did and when my friend went to the register it was $540!!!! read more

Upon booking an appointment, I was quoted 80$ for a partial highlight. When i arrived i was talking with the stylist and talking about what i wanted. My hair was a level 3 when i arrived, i told her i wanted a noticeable difference and my money pieces to be bright. She agreed. My hair is also relatively short i would say a little below my shoulders. It took 4 hours to put the bleach on, and i sat back in the washing bowl for over an hour. She said my hair lifted perfectly then proceeded to put two toners on my hair and left both of them on for two minutes, which ended up making my hair super dark to the same color as i went in. A different lady blowed and washed my hair and she was really aggressive. No product was put on my hair afterwards and i also did not cut my hair nor curl it so why was i charged 149$, but totaled out to 170$ because i had to tip. My hair looks the same as it did before. She said it lifted to a level 8 when it lifted, but my hair is at a level 5 right now. You can only see the slight highlights in the broad daylight. My friend had a similar experience over a year ago where her hair was a level 9 going into the salon, and she was there for 4 hours after previously having a consultation for a full highlight and being quoted 150, and at the end up of the appointment the stylist said "I decided to do a baby light instead" and the charged her 220$. I understand there may be a little give or take with a quote being 80$ but 149$ is a drastic difference. They also kept pressuring me to buy products there. At the end of the day yall are doing things to get us back in the chair. This is not one stylist, this is multiple. I've had multiple people say they had the same experience, including the reviews here. and it just goes to show, they rush, they are greedy with prices and truly do not care about client wants. read more

The owner has since contacted me with an apology and an offer to restyle but my mother of course would not want that she does not have enough hair left so the very sweet owner offered to give my mom as a gift a hair growth system which we are accepting with much gratitude. BAD BAD EXPERIENCE! BEWARE! Totally disorganized salon. $260 out the door for just a cut and some product. Chris Yeager is an absentee greedy owner. They just want your money! No one ever answers the phone so you have to leave a message. You have to give your credit card number in order to make an appointment! Once I arrived for my appointment, I had to wait awhile. Then when I thought I was getting a haircut it was more about up-selling than the haircut! She played around with my hair but didn't cut much at all. I was told certain products were used so I needed to buy those products for my hair to look it's best. When I went to check out, I was told one of the products wasn't due in until the following day and they would call me. They never called. I called two days later 5 times-no answer of course! I drove there and was told the product didn't exist. The girl at the desk said she never heard of the product! And it wasn't even ordered. I asked for the manager but of course she was out. I went out to my car, called but again but no answer. I went back inside, another girl came from the back and like a miracle, it was found! When I paid, the girl said the paper receipt was out of paper so it didn't work. So, no receipt! This place is sketchy. Have you ever been to a hair salon and asked for a trim, only to have several inches of your hair hacked off?? I have previously had that scary experience, but I never have to worry about that with Kayla and Salon Yeager. This salon is a little more expensive than a previous one I used but well worth the price, plus my hair is strategically cut and colored so that I can wait longer between appointments... so, per year, I actually save time and money by coming here. Brought my daughter in for cut and color. I booked online and it stated it would be a $144 charge. When I dropped her off, I told them I was leaving and would be back to pick her up since it's a 3 hr service. My daughter is a teen. When I picked her up my charge was $272 because of all the extras!! The extras that they asked my daughter to approve when clearly she wasn't the one paying for the services! Her hair looked nice but I will not return. They obviously took advantage of my absence to charge me so much. My daughter didn't even know there was an up charge for the extra services and thought they were included. It's ridiculous. I do not recommend if you value your money. The first attempt going from blonde copper to brown with blonde highlights was the worst hair experience I've had so far. Ashlyn made my hair look one color and almost black. She said two words then I was in their sink for an hour being over processed three times. I still had color in my ears, scalp and had a rash on my forehead from all the "fixing". The appointment lasted 5 hours! I was burned with the blowed dryer from a different lady she pawned me off on. Zero communication and I was ignored completely by the original stylist, Ashlyn. I came back the next day to talk to someone and figure out what went wrong. They took pictures of my breakage and irritated scalp and blamed it on her being new. We made an appointment to fix it with the top stylist, Madison. Before we started I show Madison the pictures I originally showed the first girl and she said she could do it. She colored all my hair with one color. Color was left on my scalp and in my ears once again. I asked her why we weren't going to do highlights and I thought the point of this appointment was to fix my hair and make it look like they said they would. She blamed me for my hair not being light enough and too damaged to highlight. I worked years to get my hair stronger and slowly blonde to have it gone and be blamed for their mistakes plus have my scalp left harmed. I just want a refund. Was visiting from out of town and wanted to treat myself to a cut and color while on vacation. Found this place on Google and it was one of the first names that came up. I called and asked alot of questions- I have been having my naturally light ash blonde hair professionally colored for years, know the lingo, and know what I want. they explained that they have stylists from level 1-4. 1 being a beginner and a 4 being a top stylist- and prices increased based on what level you chose. Because I was only in town for a week, it was limited on when and whom I would see- but it was settled I would be with Courtney- who was described by the receptionist as an "advanced level 2, with lots of experience with blondes." I went to my appointment and was taken in quickly. I met Courtney and showed her pictures of what I wanted. She was a bit snarky and snippy. She then asked take before and after pictures- kind of uncomfortable and I wasnt shown either one. We talked and then she mixed my color. I have long hair- to about the middle of my back. when it came to cut, I had to stand up because my hair was too long? After drying it- I saw right away that I was not happy. The blonde was far too ashy- something I specifically said I wanted to avoid. In expressing this to her- again, she was snippy and almost defensive. At the time of check out, I was told it was 200- her and I said 175 at consult. Apparently she did a deep condition treatment that I refused when asked and wanted to charge me for it. I went in for an extension move up, all the stylist had to do was wash the extensions then put them in (she didn't even take them out). She was a new stylist and very unprofessional, she kept asking me how much I pay at other salons and then charged me $180 for my service. I have never paid more than $75 for an extension move up and I go to a luxury salon in downtown Nashville. They do come off as very nice and the salon was clean, but none of this helped me to fix the issue I came in for. When I went there for an actual price for the service I was told it would be about 'x' amount of dollars without actually doing any work to inspect my hair and just showed me a price chart.
