I called to make an appointment, explained briefly what I was looking for and got scheduled quickly. The day of the appointment they offered water, tea or coffee after safely storing my purse in their cabinet and putting a jacket-style smock on my shoulders. There was a ten minute delay on my appointment time because another client was running longer than scheduled but I didn't mind much. The couches are comfortable and there are plenty of products and gift ideas on the shelves to browse through. Ciarra was my stylist for the highlights and she made sure to check with me on what I wanted, showing picture examples of what I was trying to communicate. I'm glad she helped me narrow down the partial highlight look I was going for! I have thick, wavy Polynesian hair so the entire treatment from start to flat iron and curl finish was 3.5 hours. Given the amount of product that was needed the amount I was quoted on the phone was close but not quite what I ended up paying (it was about $100 more than quoted) but it was worth every penny to be done right with Aveda products and experienced stylist. She is incredibly talented at what she does and gave every step the time it needed so my hair stayed strong and healthy. At the end my hair was gorgeous, silky, the exact caramel and brightness I wanted (some strands around the face I wanted brighter than the rest and Ciarra did that exactly right), and looked even better in the sun when I walked out the door. Whether you're a talker or just want to relax, Ciarra was accommodating, kind and just a joy to be around. The rest of the front of house staff was kind and considerate too. I'll be back regularly for my highlights going forward!
