I went ahead and booked my apartment online and showed up on a Friday afternoon at 3 PM. When I first entered the salon I got pretty excited. It had a stylish yet cozy feel. A little counter and sitting area greeted me - I noticed a good amount of seating and of course quite a few little things for sale - shampoos, conditioners, hair products, candles, brushes, etc. It was tastefully done. I popped a squat in the sitting area after checking in and waited for my stylist. It didnt take much time for her to finish with her current client and get to me. I cant remember her name but I do remember thinking our time together was a little awkward. We made small talk once or twice during the hair wash, trim, and blow dry session. It was nice to not have to talk-talk-talk, but we just didnt seem to click until she began straightening my hair. Awkward conversation aside, I can say that she 100% pulled through. She took off the split ends without chopping too much length off of my hair, she then took her time to blow dry and straighten my hair, and then put some glorious product in it that made it look and feel FANTASTIC! I am currently on day 3 of my straight hair and I can testify that it is still straight without me having to take MY straightener to fix it in the mornings. I would definitely recommend this place and plan on coming back. So glad to have a cute, affordable salon just 10 minutes down the road.
