I recently found out I am pregnant and researched organic hair dye because there are some experts who will tell you that the ammonia and other chemicals in hair dye are toxic for the baby. I was so excited to find The Singing Bird Organic Salon was so close to me and immediately booked her earliest available appointment. I was very nervous, but Lauren was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable and listened to everything I said about how I wanted my hair done. It was a drastic change from a faded blonde with dark brown roots showing almost 5 inches ‍; to a gorgeous dark brown. The haircut was just as beautiful with bangs and the many layers I had asked for. My hair feels and looks so healthy. Thanks so much Lauren.

They also do children and men haircuts as well which is great for the whole family! The staff is always friendly and care about their clients making each experience a personal one. Their attention to detail and also the clean, chic atmosphere is a wonderful bonus! I recently had warm, honey blonde added to the ends of my already much lighter blonde hair and all I can say is wow! It made a huge difference because it gave more warmth to my complexion which is rather fair. It is similar to the popular "ombré" look, yet was blonde on blonde instead of light brown on darker brown tones. I love it! They do a great job on brow waxing also by following the natural shape of your brows vs just making them too thin. They are closed Sunday and Monday, so make sure to call ahead for an appointment because they book quickly! The prices are great and not overpriced for the quality they provide. They are more expensive than a quick walk-in salon, but I don't mind if it means I will leave feeling and looking great!

I asked her to cut my girls' hair in cute chin-length bobs. She cut both of their hair way shorter. She cut it basically up to their ears. They seriously had bowl cuts. It has taken four months for their hair to grow to the chin-length style i originally requested. As for my hair, i was trying to let it grow out. I asked her to try and even out any layers I had and to not add anymore. She definitely cut it shorter than I requested and added layers! I let it grow for three months before I went to another salon. The stylist was shocked at how bad of a cut I had received. Original review-- Karla is wonderful. My daughters and I came in to get haircuts, and we left very pleased with our new hairstyles. My girls are 3 & 4, and they have never had their hair cut so well before. Karla took her time to ensure their hair cuts came out perfect. From past experiences, other hair salons have cut my girls' hair quickly and not very well. I was very pleased that Karla took her time, and it shows. Their hairstyles are too cute!
