Whew... ok where to start. HOURS spent in the salon chair for what was supposed to be a color…read morerefresh. We are talking basic color service. Nothing fancy, no fantasy colors etc. 1. The stylist was new. Nice girl, but fresh out of school new. 2. I came in with the best possible palette to work with. Meaning, no color correction needed and no damage. Just grown out roots. 3. Somehow I ended up looking like a calico cat. My hair was patchy and all shades of yellow, brown, orange, and white. 4. The damage and breakage is so bad that the new, more experienced stylist I found and consulted with said it will be several months before she will do any color service on my hair. (Frustrating but I appreciate that she's not the type to charge a boatload of money knowing it's just going to further damage my hair.) 5. The prices on the 'menu' board are inaccurate. Plain and simple. What you see there is not what you will be charged at the end of your appointment. 6. In this tiny town and with a fresh out of school stylist who wrecked my hair ... I was charged over $300. That's right, $300 for my hair to be so damaged by this ONE salon visit that other stylists won't even touch my hair. Side note, the owner and the older lady stylist were talking very negatively about the younger stylists in the salon. I was in a corner while my hair was processing and I guess they didn't realize I could hear them. Terrible work Overpriced Negative atmosphere Unless you're looking for a quick place to get your toddler son a summer buzz cut ... stay away from this place. When my hair obviously looked bad at the end, the salon owner tried to suggest it was my fault because of the shampoo I use at home. I'm pretty sure Redken is salon recommended. Horrible vibes, quality, and service. The end.

Worse haircut I've ever had. I had to even up my neckline afterwards myself, not because it was…read morecrooked, but because there was a big clipper-wide chunk buzzed out in the middle of my neck a 1/2" higher than the rest. And it's like my hair is dyslexic, long in the back and short in the front like Javier Bardem in "No Country for Old Men." The guy there puts nothing back into his shop, and doesn't seem to care. He's surrounded by "antique" barber's chairs and rusted old sinks. The chair I sat in was off-kilter and rotated on it's own. He constantly struggled to control it while cutting my hair at the same time. Also, he smelled awful. Could partly be because there's also no air conditioning (or he simply doesn't use it). It's a prime example of a sinking ship with an indifferent captain at the helm.
