I just went back again last week (April 2015) and realized my review is soo out of date. Love this place and haven't gone anywhere else since I started going I think in '09 or '10. Michele is the best and even though I don't get my hair done more than once a year, she knows my hair to a T. I am always in love with my hair when I leave and I love the way the cut and color grows out - even a year later I get compliments on it. Omg I can't express how Shane Vance from Michele Salon Always fixes my hair color!!!! How happy and grateful I found him!!!! I play hairdresser on myself because thats a passion of mine But I always mess myself up and I go to him And he is soooo amazing that he knows Exactly how to color correct , cut and style my hair!!!!! He doesn't even scold me lol. He just patiently works his magic!!!!! I trust him with my head without even thinking about it twice. Hes got so many years of experience. Went by Salon Michele today and had the best cut ever! I was looking for a drastic change and she totally got my vision and had fun with it and the result was amazing. What I love about Michele is that she is such a pro and does everything so efficiently that you are in and out of there in record time with a great look to boot. Walked in with no appointments and they had availability for us right away, and we're flexible with my, and my two best friends' schedule. Brittany did my hair and I cut off 8 inches to donate and it looks great! She did a great job working with me and was friendly and professional. My other best friends got highlights and the color turned out really nice. We were all very happy and satisfied with our experience here. Also, they have free coffee and tea for customers and a good environment. The services for coloring were a lot more expensive then originally quoted to us- 75 dollar highlights turned to 135 dollars and 100 to 180 dollars. But my haircut and style was a good 60 so I was pleased. read more

I had never seen him before, so he played with my hair (I have long, thick, brown hair. . . pretty standard), and recommended I get something without "too much of a commitment" *insert deep, rich, laugh. He cut my hair so off-handedly, and easily, it looked like he could be acting. He recommended some awesome products for my hair type, showed me how to fix my hair at home, and even styled my hair for me because he knew I was going to a high-profile event later that night. I have been going to Brittany at salon Michele for almost seven years. She has colored my hair in just about every natural shade. Blond, red and brunette she has always gotten it perfect. She has done amazing updos for me. One new years eve she gave me fantastic finger curls that friends still talk about years later. He made me feel comfortable, addressed my concerns and for the first time in 3-1/2 years I walked out of the salon feeling fabulous and gorgeous. I've been coming to Michele for several years. I don't really do "color", just low lights, but she knows just how to do it. There are no words that truly express the wonders that Shane is able to create. I spend a lot of time flying around the world and split my time mainly between Los Angeles and London. I've been to dozens of salons in Los Angeles and in London, but none come even close to the service that Shane provides. Shane is my first stop when I come to LA, and he always does a great job. Plus, he does a great job with cuts and coloring, which saves a lot of time, because it's a one-stop shop for everything. He changed my dull and drab color into a luscious mix of caramel and chocolate colored highlights and lifted my limp hair with layers and texture.
