I was in need of having a makeup artist come to my house to do my makeup for a newborn photo shoot. I was less than a week postpartum so main goals I was trying to achieve was to not look completely exhausted while keeping me and my newborn healthy. Enter Diana! I discovered Diana on Yelp and requested a quote and availability. Her responses were prompt and clear. She was not only willing to wear a face mask but typically wears a face mask as a practice. The morning of my photoshoot she arrived on time and with everything needed for my Zombie-to-Camera Ready Mom transformation :) Diana set up her mobile studio in my upstairs bathroom because it had the best natural light. I'm typically someone that wears very light makeup with only a few products (foundation, mascara, lip gloss). I told Diana I wanted a natural look that wasn't bold and didn't look like I had a ton of makeup on. She worked quickly and kept the look I was trying to achieve top of mind. The results were PERFECT! Diana is quite talented. I felt confident and pretty going into the shoot. I will certainly book with Diana for future in-home makeup needs.

I decided to move forward with booking her for my wedding makeup, and also scheduled her to do makeup on the day of the wedding for three other people. One of those people, my bridesmaid, wanted to do a trial also. Chelsey said that would be something she could do, and told my bridesmaid to reach out to her to get something scheduled. Once my bridesmaid did reach out, Chelsey said that doing a trial for her was "not worth her time", despite the fact that my bridesmaid was willing to pay $80 for a 30 minute trial. I felt that was extremely unprofessional. The day before my wedding, I reached out to Chelsey to confirm that we were still on as I had not heard anything from her in weeks. She responded and said that she was sick, and wouldn't be able to do my makeup the day of my wedding. She said she would try to find someone to cover for her. Hours later, she reached back out and said that she found an assistant that MIGHT be able to cover for her, however if the assistant was able to at all, she would need to start hours before we had originally planned on starting with makeup. I told Chelsey to forget it, and found someone else to do my makeup for my wedding. This other lady provided much better customer service, and I was even happier with the way my makeup looked than I was with my trial with Chelsey. Although Chelsey is okay at doing makeup, her customer service is terrible and I would not recommend her to anyone. I was extremely disappointed.
