I decided to move forward with booking her for my wedding makeup, and also scheduled her to do makeup on the day of the wedding for three other people. One of those people, my bridesmaid, wanted to do a trial also. Chelsey said that would be something she could do, and told my bridesmaid to reach out to her to get something scheduled. Once my bridesmaid did reach out, Chelsey said that doing a trial for her was "not worth her time", despite the fact that my bridesmaid was willing to pay $80 for a 30 minute trial. I felt that was extremely unprofessional. The day before my wedding, I reached out to Chelsey to confirm that we were still on as I had not heard anything from her in weeks. She responded and said that she was sick, and wouldn't be able to do my makeup the day of my wedding. She said she would try to find someone to cover for her. Hours later, she reached back out and said that she found an assistant that MIGHT be able to cover for her, however if the assistant was able to at all, she would need to start hours before we had originally planned on starting with makeup. I told Chelsey to forget it, and found someone else to do my makeup for my wedding. This other lady provided much better customer service, and I was even happier with the way my makeup looked than I was with my trial with Chelsey. Although Chelsey is okay at doing makeup, her customer service is terrible and I would not recommend her to anyone. I was extremely disappointed.
