I am used to cuttin-trimming-dying my own hair. Although one summer afternoon I realized I needed professional styling bc my hair was getting too long and straight (no volume bc it was straight cut) so I looked and called around close by my house, most of them are closed or busy for the day yet I was fixated to get my hair done that day, this salon luckily I found close by my beauty aesthetician and called, Nina picked up and said "6pm" and 3 hours later, I came out of that salon the happiest I've been the whole month! Nina did so good on the first haircut I got & now she's become a staple for my every 3-5 mo trim! I just wanted to share an updated review since I'm still going to Nina for all my hair care needs. Nina ALWAYS gets the order right. I literally go in the day of my appt, we talk about what we are going to do, what I'm feeling that day and how I'm picturing my look. I do sometimes bring inspiration pics for her, like to show her the specific color I want, or cut, if we are going to switch things up. Otherwise, if I go in for touch ups, I say less and Nina works her magic. Her salon is always peaceful, with good music playing, not too loud either so you can't hear her but pleasant enough where you can enjoy the tunes. The salon is always clean and tidy, NEVER a mess with other clients hair on the floor. Oh, and for those people out there that just can't help themselves, yes, Nina has an accent, and yes, her English isn't perfect, but you know what? Neither is mine. So, don't go to Nina if you have a problem understanding accents, because Nina will have no problem understanding you and your hair desires. She is a professional, master at her craft. read more

I wanted to give another review for Sheri who has been doing my hair now for the last 6 months or more . She takes her time to listen to what you want for color and cut . My hair is very fine and I always ask to go lighter with highlights to make it look like I have a bit more heir then I do. . I am pleased with my lighter color and highlights and the price is reasonable. Also the entire place follows the Covid rules - she wears a shield - they have plastic dividers up between stations- they are not over booking - was only one other client with me and two other workers - one hair dresser and the shampoo / phone lady . This is important when selecting hair color. She added subtle, warm strawberry lowlights to contrast my blonde. And I love the layered cut. Prior to coming: Came here on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. I was actually just looking to get a trim and some layers in. My ends were pretty dead from constantly using heat tools and dying my hair. I needed to freshen up after the long quarantine! At first I sent an inquiry to the closest salon, in which Yelp gave the option to send out your message to a view other local salons for some responses. Salon Le Shey responded to my inquiry within the few minutes of my posting. Nina was so quick at responding to not only my original message, but many messages thereafter. She was also very flexible on the day of for me to add an appointment in for my cousin as well. He would get a cut after me. Once I was there: She greeted me immediately and sat me down. We quickly discussed what I was going for. I told her to keep the overall length but to get rid of the split ends and to add some long layers. We got my hair washed and went back to the seat. She added some leave in conditioner to my hair as it was quite dry. She detangled and worked her magic. Throughout the cut, she was very specific on what i wanted. She wanted to make sure how much I wanted to cut off (as many may be sensitive to over trimming if they enjoyed a longer length in hair). The outcome made a huge difference. My hair feels fuller, healthier, and bouncy. Men's haircut: I wanted to add that I took my cousin with me as well. He got a haircut after me. He had a lengthy top that needed to be trimmed with fully grown sides and back. He wanted to keep the overall length of the top and shorten the sides and back. The tricky part of this was that he needed his long hair to blend with the shorter back and sides. Nina did just that! She did a combination of clippers and scissor cutting to achieve the look. The haircut was quick and we were out and about before we knew it! Will be coming back here again! read more
