This salon is a magical place. I've been coming here for close to a year now. As a low maintenance girly Salon Emeren has allowed me to not be intimidated by salons. I've been allowed to go at my own pace with learning how to do my hair! This place feels like home. I am always met with such love. The energy here is warm, inviting and authentic. They welcome humans from all walks of life. I go and see Natalie who has always held space for me during my cuts and styles. She takes her time and always checks in on the health of my hair. I got my hair done here in June by Bianca. I messaged Bianca for a quote before my appointment and she quoted me $380 and I even sent her a picture of what I wanted and asked for balayage before. She did say it may vary. She ended up charging me $600!! I didn't get a haircut for this exact reason and the only thing I could think of is, during our appointment she did ask if I wanted money pieces. I honestly didn't know and just said yes impulsively but I didn't think it would be an extra charge especially that she didn't say it would be. I also want to add she had a trainee with her (that I wasn't aware of or asked if it was ok) and was helping Bianca do my hair. I'm not saying she did my hair horribly but wasn't what I wanted or worth the price at all!! And was just confused and shocked that she charged me $600 and don't know what reason. This was my 1st time at this salon and I was sadly disappointed and upset with how I was left. I was told my hair would be more vibrant at the top and darker at the bottom never was told I cannot get you that color. I specifically told the hair stylist I do not want red I've had red 9 years ago and did not like it I asked for deep violet purple. So you can see how upset I was when she washed my hair and it was reddish brown orange. I expressed how I did not want this color and she tried again and still did not leave me with the color my hair is still red and just darker. At this point I was relieved it was not as red and brown but still so unhappy with the service. It was not what I wanted at all. At checkout she still had the audacity to charge me full price and then for the extra time and product. Which if it was the color I wanted I would have paid full price but not the extra product as a professional you should be able to say yes I made a mistake how can I make it better. In the pictures you will see how she left me honestly to go to a professional salon and get your hair done you should not be leaving like this I was stained from all my ears and neck and face. Would 100% recommend coming here. I always come to the salon and my stylist is Kayla and I love the way she does my hair every single time. The staff here is so nice so friendly they're always offering you something to drink or if you need anything. It's hidden in this little cute area behind a anime store. I started coming to this place a few years ago and the salon itself is decorated cute. They offer alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, if youre looking for a girl self care day. The pricing isnt too bad compared to other places at least with the girl i had do my hair. Keep in mind u get what u paid for. If you dont care for ur hair too much this is the place for u. If u want something specific theyll claim they know how to do it and may get close to it but dont expect specialist quality like ombre specialist (itll look like highlight with roots) or butterfly layers (look like regular layers) etc. Keep in mind in my experience i have witnessed the staff talk crap about their clients when they arent around and to the person theyre working on in that moment. Very unprofessional. I stopped coming here because of a petty unprofessional condescending altercation with my regular hairstylist. I tried contacting salon through website and emailing. No answer. They said they accept walk ins Tuesday-Saturda. I went on a Saturday and they had a sign right in front that said walk ins welcome. We walk in and no receptionist and stylist was rude. She said she was fully booked, there were only 2 stylist that were fully booked. Why put walk-in welcomed when fully booked?!?! read more
