Parking was widely open on Main and I was seated only a couple of mins before I was seen. Overall a great experience! I don't know that stylists get enough credit for being on their feet and using their hands all day while having to maintain a sunny disposition (despite whatever they may have to manage in their personal life and/or the myriad of oddities they likely have to endure at the hands of clients).... the salon here certainly deserves that acknowledgment. My visit to Tonic was a truly refreshing break from the hectic realities of life to thanks to their upbeat, welcoming environment with a very genuine and engaging stylist (who heard exactly what I wanted and delivered it!). It is clear that Allison seems takes great pride in her work and emulates a strong confidence in her approach (seems well deserved!). Equally skilled and engaging, Allison was a true pleasure to spend time with and be styled by. I hope the very best for her in the year ahead. Another facet of this visit that stood out to me was the very clear affinity the stylists seem to have for one another with frequent shared laughs and dialogue. The salon's commitment to high quality (less or non toxic) products is also something I appreciate. I'm very glad to have found Tonic and to have had the chance to meet Allison; definitely recommend both the location and this stylist and hope to visit again when I'm back in town!

It always seemed to come and go in waves, sometimes my face would clear up and then a few days later it'd just explode with acne and puffiness. It was always chalked up to, y'know, puberty, chocolate, whatever. But where some people seemed to just "grow out of it" I only continued to struggle. I've tried god knows how many different products and brands to try and find a solution. Nothing really seemed to do me any good, so I'd go through phases of just not trying, getting hopeful again, getting disappointed. It was awful. My friend actually recommended me this place - she told me about how they'll actually swab your cheek to investigate the bacteria that grows on your face, give you a whole rundown of things you can do to get your skin back on track - and naturally I trusted her opinion, so I decided to give this place a try. When I visited the shop with her last week, they did just that - swabbed my cheek, and started asking me about my eating habits, blood type - literally all sorts of things that I had no idea could potentially be affecting my body in a way that causes my breakouts. I was tasked with doing a celery juice cleanse, and given a list of things I should try to avoid eating for a week in order to help my body to recover from some of the not so great things I've been putting in it. They actually gave me a good week's worth of different product samples (for free!), things they make in-house that I could try during my cleanse to see if they have a positive effect on my skin. Well, happy to say that one week later my skin has started to clear up a bit - I still have some breakouts, but my face isn't as puffy as it typically is, and my skin is sooooo much healthier after using these products. Like I said - Beauty Organix products are all made in-house. They also have a handful of other beauty product brands that are carefully selected and are only the best for your body. They have different face washes, deodorants, even makeup that's all picked with your overall body health in mind. Not only has coming here made a positive impact on my overall skin care routine and health, but it's impacted my eating habits and way of thinking as well! I've really started feeling so much better here overall since I've visited! I am so happy to give this great local spot my business and am looking forward to being a returning customer.

After hearing about the amazingness that comes out of Salon Elizabeth and months of checking out photos of clients, I decided to book appointments with Lizzy and her team for my New Year's Eve '17 wedding. During my trial, I immediately knew I made the right decision. All I brought with me was a tiny photo of the type of hair style I liked and Lizzy just got it. We built my entire hair and makeup style around that tiny photo. The day of our wedding, Lizzy and her team were all business. They arrived at the hotel suite early, prepared with all of their beautifying tools and got to work. I was amazed that they were able to complete hair and makeup for 6 bridesmaids, me, my mom and flower girl in just a few short hours! Everyone looked spectacular with the styles that they wanted, and the best part - hair and make up stayed ALL NIGHT LONG! It's clear that Lizzy loves making people feel their absolute best, regardless of what the occasion is. I enjoy her work so much that I'm a regular client! Lizzy and her team were amazing! One of the main things that attracted me to Salon Elizabeth was their bridal suite. You have a place to change, eat and drink, and just enjoy your time while you are getting ready. Lizzy and her team are so talented. I had 3 bridesmaids, my mom and my aunt. All of the women looked stunning! The makeup they use is top quality. Lizzy makes you feel so comfortable and works with you to make your vision come to life! I was planning my wedding out of state and Lizzy was so wonderful about responding to emails and any questions I had. Also, the inside and outside of the salon is such a beautiful backdrop for photos. The salon is so clean and decorated beautifully. Lizzy and her team did such an amazing job on the hair and make up for my bridesmaids and I at their salon on the morning of my wedding. My bridesmaids have been in many weddings and they all thought their hair and make up was on another level of quality! All the girls hair and makeup looked gorgeous and lasted the whole day and night. The hairstyles all looked just like the pictures we showed the team-but even better! My photographer couldn't stop raving about how when hair is done at the salon, it makes a big difference in pictures. The atmosphere was very fun yet relaxing. We were admittedly late to the game in booking wedding beauty services, but Liz at Salon Elizabeth was incredibly accommodating and managed to squeeze myself, the Maid of Honor, and my daughter in for her big day. She suggested we do our styling at her stunning Salon Elizabeth Airbnb, and it was a total game-changer. Liz is amazing - she always listens and understands exactly what is the best for me. Lizzy is the best! A week before my wedding, she freshened up my look with a cut and highlight. The day of the wedding, she did both my hair and makeup. I gave her very loose descriptions of what I was looking for (an updo off to the side and a natural look for makeup) and let her do the rest! In my opinion, you can have the most enjoyable wedding day when hiring a professional that you can just trust to do their job.....and that's what you can do with Lizzy! I used Elizabeth for my wedding hair and makeup as she was just amazing. She was able to squeeze me into her morning and she nailed my style perfectly. Lizzy and team are fantastic! They created natural and stunning looks for myself and two wedding party members, and kept us calm and laughing through it all.
