She's the real V.I.P. I've only recently started working with Tami but I regret not finding her sooner! My goodness. She has totally revived my brow-game. I am really so happy that I found this place. I went for a consultation last week with Katie it was a great experience. I have never done a consultation first and after having a consultation I will never have my hair done again without one. Katie took time to look over my hair and I was able to express my concerns over greying thinning and over processed hair because I have been doing it on my own because I couldn't find a good hairdresser. We were then able to discuss some options for my hair. It was a very relaxed environment and Katie was very thorough and confident in what she could do with my hair and at the end of the consultation she gave me the price for the first appointment and for future touch up appointments. She was clear on everything. It was a refreshing experience. So today I went in one week after my consultation and had my first appointment! I am so happy with my hair it looks beautiful and I can't remember the last time I felt this way about my hair. Katie stayed with me the entire time and took her time with my hair. I was the only one she was working on she used a 20 volume to highlight my hair I have no damage at all. This was a big concern of mine because I had previously had my hair fried before by another hairdresser Katie assured me this would not be a concern. She did the highlights in a way so that my grey hair won't be quite as noticeably and she changed my parting side so the thinning area isn't noticeable. When I came home my husband said my hair looked fuller. I am so pleased due to finally finding a hairdresser that won't ruin my hair. Katie understands and cares for her client and their hair. My skin is a hot mess. One. hot. mess. I need a peel to get my skin in top order. This is where Salon Deja Vu comes in, and yes ... I drive WAY out of my comfort zone to have this done so my skin can look good again! Jo is my go-to girl for a most intense peel, little downtime, and she'll communicate what she's doing the entire time. She got me on the right product before I started my peel, and gives me instructions on what to do after. I like to say she's the esthetician's esthetician. Yes, I too do what she does, and she holds the highest of standards, so that's why I go to her. (Did I mention I drive over an hour to have this done?) Yes, she's that good. I searched for a hair salon in Hollister based upon photographs and not so much the actual reviews. I loved the "warm highlights" photo, so I scheduled an appointment with Haley. I was definitely not disappointed. She did highlights/low lights and a long layer cut. She is reasonably priced and did not charge me extra for my hair (medium to long length and thick), which several salons have done to me in the past. She even did a quick style at the end. Sandra did my wife's hair and makeup for our wedding. She is a friend and she gave us this gift for our wedding. It was PERFECT! and lasted all day. Sandra exceeded my expectations! She was more like a personal assistant to my wife on her wedding day, than a hair & makeup artist. I cannot recommend her more. I also know about the rest of the Salon Deja Vu; I used to have my hair cut there many users ago, and their reputation is known throughout Hollister. Mark is excellent. I went in for a new hair style/color and came out with BUTCHERED hair. It's taken me 5 months to get my hair back to normal. Sandra was recommended by the owner as being talented, well trained and skilled (NOT) I do not suggest you use this salon. I cried for days, it's just a shame , I feel they lied to make a dollar.
