Was seriously craving a perm and found this place!…read more I had walked by it one day when I was checking out H-mart and the interior was so sleek and clean. I went home and did my research and found out they do perms! I saw some reviews and reached out to see if they would be able to take me in. They responded promptly and I was able to come in right away. I want to preface by saying I had a conversation via text about what I wanted and the health of my hair. There were inspiration photos as well as photos of my hair to get a gist of things. But overall, it was discussed that it was possible to get the outcome I wanted. That being said, I went to the salon and got my perm. It was wavy but not as curly as I wanted. I left a little disappointed. But, paid and went about my day. The next morning, I woke up and my once wavy perm was just flat. I reached out to the salon to see if we could re-perm my hair because I wasn't quite content with the outcome. They responded quickly and were able to book me that day. When I got to the salon, I was apologetic for having to redo my perm, but they were so understanding and kind about the entire situation. They re-permed my hair and the outcome was everything I wanted! I was so happy. The curls came out beautiful and my hair is still very healthy despite being permed twice within two days. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. And thank you to John for taking care of me!

BOOK WITH HARMONY!!!! SERIOUSLY, DO IT!!…read more From the moment I walked into the salon, I could sense Harmony's passion and dedication to her craft. What truly impressed me was her attention to detail - each strand was delicately painted to protect my hair and prevent an overlap. (Blondies- she knows what BLONDE means and you do not leave brassy or orange) She patiently answered all my questions, alleviated any concerns I had, and ensured that I felt comfortable and confident with each step she took. If you are an extension girly....I have had extensions for many years and I do not say this lightly..with so many reputable stylists that overcharge and underdeliver Harmony is true gem in the world!! She is genuine, committed to her clients' satisfaction and she exceeded all my expectations! I can't recommend her enough. She has gained a client for life!

Well you will NOT feel that way at Lambs! I called for an appointment with Lisa, the owner, because of a friend's always sassy smart haircuts. The receptionist (very nice!!) booked a consultation first so that we'd know what we were doing and how much time Lisa would need to schedule for my first appointment. The salon is eclectic and artsy, yet warm and inviting. The vibe is very chill and positive. No pretentious stylists running around flaunting dramatic egos- just creative, authentic artists who sincerely care about their clients. I must also mention these folk are extremely passionate about animals and animal rights and for the past eight years have sponsored a fundraiser "Shampooch" which benefits local animal shelters. So, tell me, how can they be anything but genuine? My hair was basically a hot mess....frizzy, bad cut, and stripey highlights. Lisa and her assistant Jasmine worked their magic for two hours during which I felt completely relaxed and at home. When they finished, my color looked splendid and natural. The highlights now look natural and my base color looks normal, too. We are working on the cut which will take a few more visits to grow and shape into the style we want, but I am happy to have found what Lisa calls "a hair home"!!

Came here with high hopes after first visiting in 2022, and was sadly disappointed…read more The person who was supposed to be cutting my hair was stuck with an unhappy client who was scheduled right before me. The client repeatedly told the hairstylist that her cut was uneven, and the stylist told her that they're out of time and she would have to come back another time to get it fixed. The client pushed for someone else to come over, and by then it was 18 minutes past my appointment time. I let the receptionist know I was leaving as I had a busy morning planned and there was no end in sight at this point. The salon called me and asked when I could come back to see the same stylist. I told them I wasn't comfortable seeing that stylist after what happened earlier, and they offered no discount to return for my time lost or the opportunity to see someone else. The 2 stars is because it was a very nice and clean looking studio, and I'm sure there are other stylists who are great.
