I didn't notice any difference in prices. They carry a lot of brand names like Steve Madden, Perry Ellis, and even brands like Betsy Johnson and Michael Kors at reduced prices. Clothing, purses, luggage, home decor, kitchen and yard accessories, a few specialty food items, and a small selection of women's shoes and jewelry. You never know what you will find, but it's often worth a look. New facilities, nice parking, next to The Main Event in the Pharr Town Center. My wife noticed it was warm "hot" in the store. We mentioned it to the cashier who informed us the temperature is set and controlled by the corporate office. Makes me wonder if they're in Denver shoveling snow while we have highs hovering between 90 and 100°.

Customer service has always been pleasant and efficient, though at peak times there is a line. However, the lines move much faster here than at their competition. TJ Maxx is one of our first stops when shopping. This one has a great location in the Shoppes at Rio Grande Valley at the corner of I-69C and Trenton. The shopping center has a myriad of shoppes, restaurants, a Starbucks, Academy, Ulta, JCP, and much more, so there is something for everyone.

This location has a great selection of women's clothes, though they don't have that great a men's selection. Unlike other TJ Maxxs in the area, this one has a wonderful furniture selection. They usually have 6-8 pieces of furniture (tables, chairs, benches) in the back of the store. Their figurines and house goods area is usually chaotic, but if you take your time and sift through the madness, you can usually find something of worth (Kate Spade dinnerware, etc). Not a great salon section, but every now and then they have an influx of CHI styling tools. Stop by and give this TJ Maxx a shot. I swear by TJ Maxx and this store doesn't disappoint.
