I went into the store looking for help bc my drugstore box color was fading too fast. There was a lovely, well dressed, grey haired lady working who stepped up and seemed very professional. She gave me advice on color, sold me color and products. She also explained why my color was fading. I went home and followed her advice. I have a DISASTER! My hair that's a medium ash blonde is now BLACK! I've done everything I know and everything she said I was doing that was fading my color to get this black to fade, but in 2 weeks it hasn't changed. I'm very upset. I have spoken to the younger girl working that day. She said she was a local stylist and I looked her up. She said that lady was her boss. It's ridiculous that I walked into the store looking for help and was sold something that has completely wrecked my long hair! read more

Haven't been to a Sally's since I lived in Florida when I had my Salon. Things have changed now for buying there. You use to have to have your license to buy most of the items they sell. I guess now anyone can buy anything they sell. My Mom told me what to get for her. She needed a perm a specific one her sister told her about. It was the last one on the shelf so I was lucky. Over all the employee beast friendly and they had what I was looking for. Not sure when I'd go back but it is great for certain things you maybe looking for read more

I LOVE shopping here. The owners are so sweet and personable. Whenever I go into the "Chinese…read moreshops" I dont feel like they truly care about my (hair care) needs they just try to sell me any ol products and only care about me spending my money. However, at Universal Beauty Supply, being that one of the owners actually specializes and does hair (licensed cosmetologist) I truly feel like I'm getting good advice on hair products and products to grow my hair. Need I mention that they are a female, black owned black beauty supply store. I just love everything about them and this store! #shopBlack #blackOwnedEverything #universalBeautySupply #ForestCitysOwn

The first time, we ended up walking out after waiting over an hour to see a doctor for a contact lens fitting. Today we waited over an hour and a half to see a doctor for her yearly exam. He came in for 5 minutes and basically told her she needs a new prescription. Then *poof* he was gone. I've never had any issues with the staff; in my experience they have been polite and helpful. But the inefficiency and the way patients' time is casually wasted is making me consider finding another provider. I dread going there because I never know how much of my day is going to be lost.
