Their calendar is packed with events for every age group -- kids, teens, adults, families, homeschoolers, gamers, crafters, book clubs, music lovers, STEM fans, and more. You can walk in on any given day and find something happening: storytime, chess club, art workshops, community education, live music, after‑hours events, even bookmobile visits around the county. It feels less like a library and more like a vibrant cultural hub. The staff is another standout. They're friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping people -- whether you're looking for a book, exploring digital media, or using their "Ask a Librarian" service You can tell they care about the community and want everyone to feel welcome. They also have large, rotating exhibits, which never cease to impress. ASI also participates in Second Friday Night Art Walk. The multi level space is beautiful and really takes you through the progression of the Clintons. There is a very small gift shop on site with the usual options. I sure never thought I would be giving a review to a government agency, much less a very, VERY…read morepositive one, but Jennifer knocked my socks off today at the Social Security administration! The website has been down today and wasn't displaying information correctly when I was able to get in. So I just decided to drop in and see if I could make an appointment to go through things with them. I needed to change my direct deposit. I needed to update my phone number & I needed to verify that a past employer had failed to report a significant amount of earnings which is impacting my monthly payment. Building is tucked away behind Dollar tree and Morgan's Stanley on Central directly across from the Country Inn. There's plenty of parking and when I entered at a quarter after 12 I really didn't think anybody would even be there, in fact, I was surprised the door was unlocked. The guard is about as friendly as a rattlesnake tho, so beware. Before I could even ask him anything he barked "USE THE KIOSK!" and pointed in the general direction of a small kiosk in front of a bay of service windows. I just wanted to make an appointment so I tried the kiosk and it gave me an appointment - immediately. As in: you're up next after next person. I had only been waiting for about six minutes when they called my number and I met Jennifer at E8. This woman acted surprised when I told her how shocked I was I was actually getting Service today. So pleasant, professional and soft spoken, she was able to change my direct deposit and update my information and give me an appointment for a call to verify benefits next week via telephone. Don't even have to drive back into town. Unfortunately, her supervisor wasn't there so they didn't get to tell them what a wonderful asset Jennifer is. She was exceptionally proficient at accessing records, and because I did not expect to be speaking with anybody today, I was pretty UNprepared. She waited patiently while I got through the mess of paperwork I had, and was finally able to provide her with the correct information. All in all, it was the most wonderful visit to the government office I've ever had. Thank you, Jennifer, I hope you have the day you deserve, which is a wonderful one!

Ohhhh, the Capital of Arkansas. This has a small town vibe and is pretty slow. There was not a lot…read moregoing on while I was there. Some of the city's popular attractions include the State Capitol, The Arkansas River, Central High School, the River Market District, the Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden, The Bill Clinton Presidential Library and MacAuther Park. The downtown area has commercial lots and metered street parking. The meters run Monday through Friday, from 8AM to 6PM for the most part. The city is known a group called the Little Rock Nine, A group a 9 black teenagers that integrated Central High School in the city, in the face of intimidation, threats and violence. The city is the 118th most populous in the country and is home of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Most of the people that I encountered in the city were friendly. You will find panoramic views along the river and it was double awesome at night. River Front and River Walk Parks are amazing spots to take it all in. I found it to be a relatively clean city and the airport was only about 10 minutes from the Downtown area. Even though the city is ranked as one of the top 10 most dangerous cities in the country, I never came across a time that I felt uncomfortable or in danger. This is a chill little city and I really enjoyed my time here. There was enough for me to do and I was able to find some awesome eateries such as Campo Taco, Maddie's Place, the Rail Yard, and the Flying Fish.
