The employees beyond being efficient seem to really enjoy working here and I understand the environment fosters positive worker satisfaction. Then there's Costco towing the line trying to keep costa down even advocating against the government to accomplish this for its customers and the shareholders. I will be a loyal customer for the rest of my life as long as things continue to operate the way they do. And then grabbing a hot dog combination or rotisserie chicken that has NOT increased in price for years if not decades is just fantastic and about unheard of anywhere else . With the high price of beef these days, I'll take a deal wherever I can. The Chef Store is great for local restaurants to pick up items if they need them at the last minute but it's not anywhere that saves you much money. In fact the prices are often higher than places like Sam's, Costco or the regular grocery store and also carry more limited inventory.. They carry items in restaurant size quantities but so do other club stores. A plus here is that you don't need a membership to shop there. Don't go looking for help there though if you need it. Often there's a single employee out and they often don't know where items are or when they will get out of stock items in. I've learned not to bother to ask.
