I recommend having nothing to do with Rex J White. I am gonna give you a quick summery of my…read moreexperience with this man and the challenges I am going to have if I try to sue him. I was the victim of housing discrimination, but I was able to prove it, (somewhat at first) because I had recorded all my calls with the property management company. Rex White had bragged to me about making this company settle out of court many times. (Mind you I am disabled and was basically bed ridden, and he knew I was up against statute of limitations ) He came to visit me with another trainee lawyer named Dallas. I am guessing he lied to me on the phone because he referred to Dallas as his assistant. He listened to the evidence I had given him. In short the property management company claimed to have denied me housing due to my demeanor. However I was nothing but polite, kind and soft spoken in every encounter I had with them and not just them, I try to be that way with everyone I deal with, especially if I am trying to get favor from them. I mean that's just common sense, who is going to do something nice for you if you are not mindful of their feelings? Here is where things get deep... So after I was rejected for housing I filled a housing discrimination complaint with BOLI, BOLI interviews me and it appeared that, the property management company may have paid off Rafael Colin either that or Colin just lied due to racism or laziness I am not sure but he said I was rude with him but what he didn't know was my call with him was recorded too , so I put everything on youtube on the pop news mix channel. So fast forward to Rex and Dallas visiting me. Rex sees everything and tells me he will send me a contingency agreement and a draft of the settlement demand, mind you I am now wrapped up with him just based on the fact that I trusted him and his mother was the secretary for the firm he was working for close to two months. With almost two weeks left to go he sends me a rejection letter and denies all the above. So I report him to the Oregon State Bar and file suit against the company on my own, Here is where Oregon law makes things tricky. When Rex said he was gonna take the case he told me this live at my home. I had signs up saying things like ''audio recording in progress'' for two reasons number one I tape podcasts and it protects me from anyone walking in and claiming they where on air without permission and in Oregon its legal to record calls if you are part of the call, but to record audio real life encounters you need to make it clear that recordings are taking place. The thing is I wasn't trying to record Rex at my home (I did record the calls with his firm and his mother confirming that he was indeed sending out the contingency agreement ) but the mic I had was recording youtube nature sounds from another room, however when he was leaving he stated that he was sending me the agreement and that part was clearly picked up. So I send the recordings to the Oregon State Bar and not only do they ignore it , they also admitted that they never contacted Dallas to hear what he witnessed while they where here and according to the OSB Rex never responded to the recordings. So did Rex pay off the OSB to ignore everything? I don't know but sooner or later everything will come out because an academic army is about to be unleashed on the OSB and BOLI that will rid Oregon of all corruption. This is why Brad Avakion the head of BOLI lost his election run, because after my story aired many lawyers and sponsors from all over the world came to help me and formed groups like the fair housing team and created a dead mans switch, They even had news groups make ads and put it on everywhere, it was amazing! See, it turned out that when I recorded the calls with the property management company and BOLI I had used an encryption method that proves the calls where 100% unedited. So my case was now 100 times stronger because before they were going to lie and say the calls where edited etc... But now they could not do anything but admit that not only did they try to frame me but they also instructed their staff to frame me. We knew we had them so right after being deposed, before I went in to the settlement conference I turned over everything, because I knew they would demand that I not say their name or post about them, the beauty of a dead mans switch is that no one can stop it, not even me. I have about 5 months left to live so I wouldn't care anyway but I wanted to keep my word to the judge that presided over the hearing. If you are ever going to apply for housing in any state but especially in Oregon using a 3rd party recording service like the fair housing team for all points of contact, even if you are just calling to see if something is available. Do not put anything past anyone in this State! Now as for suing Rex he may argue that I was a better litigant then he could ever be thus he did not damage me.

We have used Rex White for a couple of lawsuits in the past for my family members. (Our referral)…read moreHowever, a gentleman who used to lease one of the offices at his location unfortunately made a small mistake and we had to go for malpractice so he recommended us to Rex White or Seth. After months and months of emailing this was our experience. Seth, is a terrible attorney who talks down to you in condescending ways. Anytime we would reach out to him weeks and weeks would go by before we have to check in again and then he'd apologize for his lack of getting back to us on a timely matter and that he would be sure to do that in the future... just for another month to go by after asking for an address so that I could send them documents regarding this lawsuit so he could check it out to see if he wanted to take the case. Along with a couple other cases we needed to add as well. When I checked in with him he was rude to me and spoke down to me and pretty much said that his workload has increased and so we should probably go elsewhere and wished us luck. We wasted over a year trying to get them to call us back or email us back and they never did. So because they let us on, we are now down to just a few months before the deadline of dropping a lawsuit and are scrambling for a new lawyer. Thankfully Robert is being kind enough to help us look for another representation. But stay away from Seth Because unless you enjoy attorneys that you have to babysit because they don't have any ethics or common decency to keep Fair communication... then you'll want to stay away. This is coming from a client that has used them for two other successful lawsuits for my parents social security lawsuits. I will be contacting the bar regarding this gentleman and offering my reviews anywhere I see I can. As well as letting Rex White know of the treatment from the associates he has represent his firm. I am so red it's not even funny.
