Once I found Relevant Church I instantly fell in love. This was the first church I've gone to that I felt comfortable to sit right up front, actually go around and meet people, to truly start getting involved, and actual gain knowledge I could understand and apply to my life. Carl is an amazing Pastor. The children's environment was what I truly was concerned about. I wanted a place for my girls to learn and find a way in which they could learn about our faith in there environment. Being an adult now learning of my faith I feared not having the knowledge to teach them myself and that is where Relevant stepped in. They love it! The members of the church are all so great. I've also joined a small group and it is an amazing group of people helping me walk in my faith and helps me to dig deeper. I also love the ladies night out, or "The Gathering" to have one night out for just ladies to worship together with no care for those few hours. This is definitely my church home!

Husband and I came from two very different church backgrounds and had a hard time finding something that suited both of us. What struck us about Relevant was the authenticity of the members. It didn't seem clique-y (though, it can be a little now, which is unfortunate), and we found the messages to be truly applicable in our daily lives. Carl is a gifted speaker who can deliver heart-jolting messages in 30 minutes' time. He claims he was once terrified of public speaking, but you'd never know it. The children's environment is nothing short of amazing. My son attended service on the RKids hall from the time he was two months old, and he's three now. The ladies in all of his classrooms loved on him, and he loved them back. He was excited for church every Sunday, and he wasn't even big enough to go on the massive playground! The new building is beautiful, and the teams put in HOURS of effort to create a place where everyone feels welcome. It broke our hearts to have to move away, and we hope to find something similar near our new home.

Now I want to write an update because I went to the church while it was open this morning and I met the people of God.The service was great.The message was on time, and I was blessed to be in a gathering Once again. Had a wedding there, was told I would get my deposit back in full. After 5 weeks later of waiting…read morefor my check in the mail, I had to contact Alison Jolley several times. She ignored my phone calls. Had to call from different numbers in order for her to answer me, and then was told that there was a broken table and paint chipped off the pews. There was NO broken table when I left the wedding, im sure a broken table would be very noticeable in front of hundreds of people. My family had to clean it all up before they left the wedding, when we paid for a janitor. During the hours of the cleaning, Alison Jolley was sitting in her office eating chinese food with her assistant ,you pay the assistant $250 for NOTHING. She has no purpose. Alison never mentioned nor showed a broken table or chipped paint to anybody during the walk through. She walked around the place to make sure it was clean and to their standards and let my family leave saying everything looked great. Nobody saw or mentioned a broken table. The pews have chipped paint EVERYWHERE on the sides. So I am not sure if we even did that. Alison Jolley is a Horrible wedding coordinator, stole our money, lied, and yet works in a church. When we tried to go to the church so we could see proof of the broken table and the chipped paint on the pews, we were DENIED entry. What did they have to hide?! They could not even provide us a receipt to see if our deposit was even being used for that. What kind of pastor has NO authority over the church wedding coordinator? Because that is the answer he gave us when we kept calling the church, because Alison Jolley was avoiding our calls with no explanation. The place is beautiful but do not expect your $500 deposit back, or a Good wedding coordinator; because you will get NEITHER.

The bridal parlor is amazing and provided me with lots of personal space to get ready. Things went perfect the rehearsal and day of the wedding thanks to the wedding coordinator at the church Allison Jolley. She really knew what she was doing and made it flawless. Her assistant was also there and ready to do what needed to be done. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! I would recommend this church to anyone for their wedding!!
