My wife had service here with a group of friends and everyone had a really great time. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff really knew what they were doing. This is my second visit in 2 months. The mens area is large, clean, and kept stocked during the day. The spa treatments are great too. It seems to live up to the Salamander standards. Why four stars instead of 5? Because there is only a very large, clean, and effective steam room. There is no sauna, no Swedish showers, not hot tub or whirlpool on the mens side. Don't get me wrong, the place is really good, and probably the best in the area - but still falls short in my book. I will be back for another massage and steam I'm sure. read more

Wow, what an amazing spa! With your appointment you get to use all of their amenities and ANYONE is welcome to go there, not just Innisbrook members. Everything is new and so clean! Steam room and whirlpool are a dream and they have a wonderful lounge area with different types of tea, infused water and snacks. Do not get into the whirlpool unless you want your bathing suit ruined, trouble breathing for 24 hours and dry skin for weeks!! Unbeknownst to my group of friends who came here last week, we "relaxed" in a tub full of harsh chemicals that bleached our expensive swim suits and caused severe allergic reactions such as trouble breathing and itchy/incredibly dry skin. We complained to Ashley who "never heard of this happening before" and offered nothing but a complimentary enhancement on our next visit. Umm ... no thanks! Ashley could have made the situation right by at least offering to reimburse us for our ruined bathing suits but did no such thing. Beware of the whirlpool!!! read more

Myself and four other ladies came to the Indaba on my cousins wedding day for some much needed pampering. the Spa is very nice as well as the staff. We enjoyed the eucalyptus steam room and whirlpool. The ladies lounge area was very nice. My massage was good, I had one of the holiday special cranberry and fig massage, however my masseuses was an odd duck, She hugged me before and after the appointment, just a tad uncomfortable with that. Also reason why it didn't get a 5 star review! DO NOT order the lunches at the spa. They are all $20 and gross. Not one of us liked our lunch. The chicken in three of the dishes was Grey and had veins and grossness going on. I feel like an ass ordering a $20 salad, but thought a salad for $20 must be spectacular. Which it is far from. Delighted this local 5-star spa has reopened. The covid protocols are excellent. New air filtration system, redesigned layout, masks, plexishields for nail treatments, etcetera. This is an exquisite, immaculate, Zen atmosphere spa, using healthy Deborah Lippmann nail salon products, Zents lotions, and other high quality products. Great locals discount. The new nail aesthetician (Y) was excellent for my first return treatment post-full vaccination. She was courteous, helpful, and careful performing my Quench Hydrating Mani-Pedi. Beautiful outcome. I look forward to my next treatment with her at the Innisbrook Salamander Spa, part of the Innisbrook Golf & Country-Club Resort (open to the public; easy check in at Security Gate). read more

I am not sure why there are not more great reviews for this spa! First of all, I used to go to other well know spas: Ritz Carlton, Safety Harbour... this is the best, hands down! I love the lounge area, where you can sip on organic herbal teas and and a yummy nut mix... I recommend you get there early, so you can use the steam room and hot tub before your treatments. Even though this is an hour away from where I live, it is the only spa I will go to now. Oh, I always get the Lime Ginger Glow special, 50 minute scrub, 50 minute massage and 50 minute facial... the perfect day! I highly recommend Luda, she is amazing! read more

I am not one to complain so I did not mention this to the front desk person; I got the impression that they didn't care if I was satisfied or not. I would give them 5 stars, except I cant always get in with the hair stylist who I really like. I wish they would add a hair stylist to the roster. They really are the best spa in Palm Harbor. I like their professionalism, cleanliness and great products they offer. The spa itself is amazing. Luda is my massage therapist and she also does my facials. I love her! All the staff is especially attentive to all guests. I wish I didn't have to work so much or I'd be there more! read more

My amazing husband sent me today for a day at the spa as a special birthday treat! I was a little hesitant because I hadn't heard good reviews---BUT they must be old reviews because my day was INCREDIBLE!!! It started with ONE OF THE BEST massages I've ever had, followed by an AWESOME facial by Luda! ALittle break for lunch then Rondalyn came and took me for a VERY PAMPERING and WONDERFUL mani/pedi! She didn't rush and she made sure every little thing was PERFECT, from a warm neck pillow to keeping my drink filled and FABULOUS nails and toes! Every person in that Spa were so friendly and welcoming that I felt like I had been there 100 times! The relaxation room was BEAUTIFUL and everything was soooo clean! The spa is very clean and everyone that works here is extremely friendly. Carly did my pedicure and Nicole did my gel (shellac) manicure. Shellac polish is not one of my preferred brands of polish because it doesn't last as long as gelish or OPI.. However, they did a nice job and the complimentary wine is the icing on the cake! It is pricey that's my warning. Mani/Pedi cost me $90.00.. If you are looking for a regular spot to do nails weekly not the place you're looking for... For a special treat it is worth it. read more

The service is exceptional. The steam room and jacuzzi are small. However, if you catch it on a slow day, it's all yours. The massage I received the Indaba Spa Ritual, was divine. Working from Scalp to heal my entire body was in perfect harmony. When you book a service there you are able to utilize the steam room, jacuzzi and resting area (filled with tea and snacks) for the entire day if you please. I recommend ordering lunch. I scheduled a pedicure whilst staying at the resort for a work event. The technician and front desk staff were extremely friendly, but the pedicure was sub-par for $59 (which included a 20% gratuity fee that I had no say in). All you receive is paint and trimming. There is no extra treatment which would warrant such a high price. (foot massage, hot stone/towel, sea salt scrub: all items you would find in a basic massage for about $35 anywhere else. I was very disappointed in my Indaba experience...which I paid $450.00 for. I received a great facial and wonderful lunch..location is beautiful. But this did not make up for the mani/pedi experience and massage. Although the Sunday crew had the best of intentions, I am sure of this, I will never return. My friends and I had scheduled weeks in advance for the full spa treatment on a Sunday....if the staffing could not support the delivery of services, then other arrangements, a notification, different choices...COMMUNICATION should have taken place. Absolutely fantastic! My aunt and I did a spa day: massages, mani/pedi and relaxed in the whirlpool and steam room. The massage was fantastic! I had a lavender Swedish massage and it was the only thing that could undo the stress of two small boys, haha. The ambiance of the spa is very soothing and modern. I loved the 'waiting' area with the big lounge chairs, beverage station and the view overlooking the lush landscaping. It doesn't feel too "Florida" at Indaba (which is great since I'm a Floridian and I get a little tired of the 'tropical' spa stuff) It felt much more like a Georgia or South Carolina spa. Everyone was incredibly professional. We didn't eat at the spa. They called a shuttle for us and we went up to the clubhouse... which is also amazing. The room rates are insanely reasonable as well so I recommend making an entire weekend of it. You won't be disappointed. Not a bad thing to say about anything, which is rare. read more
