I would suggest you pace yourself. it's buffet style, or Rodízio style. so the servers come to you with a plate and then serve you different cuts of meats as they go around the table. we enjoyed the steak, there was also a chicken thigh with house made honey mustard that was fantastic. The garlic knots are great, and the chicken hearts were also amazing. all the drinks were great but definitely overpriced, we ended up with the banana flambé dessert and it was so so so delightful. I highly recommend trying it. so you get your money worth? 169 real = $35, I would say so, if you have that privilege of conversion, but for the average Brazilian, this place is very expensive. overall, it was a great experience, but sad that it's not really appealing to the average local. which brings me to my next review of Baiaña Acaraje, a restaurant serving food from the Bahia region. The best meal I had in BH was from Baiaña Acaraje.

Unfortunately, it turned into the worst restaurant experience they've had in Brazil. When they arrived, they informed the staff about the voucher and were seated normally. However, after waiting for 45 minutes, the waiters were completely ignoring their table. Meat was being served everywhere except to them, and when my mother-in-law asked a waiter about it, he simply laughed and walked away. That level of disrespect is unacceptable. Only after she asked to speak with the manager did the staff suddenly decide to start serving them. By then, the experience was already ruined. They felt humiliated and unwelcome, especially considering this was supposed to be a special birthday dinner and a positive first impression of Brazilian churrasco culture. In the end, they chose to pay only for the drinks and leave without even using the voucher because they no longer felt comfortable staying there. Based on what they experienced, it was their first and definitely their last time at Porcão BH. We are now in contact with the credit card company to dispute the purchase and request a refund for the voucher, since the service that was promised was never properly provided. A restaurant can make mistakes, but disrespect, neglect, and mocking customers should never happen.

Food is creative and original and tasty. We had some massive ribs, and alcatra with canastra (our "ao ponto" request didn't lead to a medium rare). There can be a pretty long wait to get in on busier days of the week. It's not cheap.

First off I started with a flight called "nice to meet you", a lineup of their lighter beers, the witte, hop corn (which they are out of and substituted the verano - a pale ale), citra - a session IPA, and niobium- a double IPA. I'm not a fan of IPAs, but the witte was really smooth. I had the quintessential MG plate of toasted pão de queijo bruschetta with carne seca, a light creamy cheese and a touch of lemon zest. It was delicious and quite filling. The burger collaboration with duke n' duke was one of the BEST burgers I've had (and we've tasted so many Brazilian burgers, move aside Madero, here's the new champion!) Even if you are not usually a burger fan, this delicious speciality burger on its rustic bread bum, topped with special sauce, bacon and caramelized onions is absolutely scrumptious! Another not-to-miss item is the collaboration of Wäls and Goose Island, for an amazing Alambique County black tripel, a spinoff of Goose's bourbon county (one of my favorite beers). This one is a little lighter in color, if you're afraid of dark beers but full of flavor. We even bought the crystal glass it gets served in. If you are a fan of Wäls petroleum and want to try something different, this is the beer for you. Although the prices are a little expensive here, it's definitely worth every reais. Very impressed with this place, great ambiance, friendly staff, beautiful space and exceptional food and beer.
