He immediately assessed me and said he could help with my other issues (eyes & liver), but first, he would have to "fix" my scoliosis. I laughed to myself as, after being seen by Western doctors, I was told I am close to having to get surgery because of the severity of my crooked spine. I definitely never wanted surgery, so I figured I would try Dr. Liang and see what he could do. I was a bit skeptical because the office is plain and there is a bit of a language barrier, since he is most comfortable speaking Chinese, and I only speak English. However, he always takes the time to explain his process and how my body is responding (sometimes through a translation app). He works mostly through massage and pressure points. I will not lie, the manipulation on my back and body has been extremely painful at times, but after I leave, I can feel the difference and know he is working in the right places. He is literally remolding my body! It has been 3 months of weekly visits so far, and my back is completely different. It is not fully straight, but I am happy with this result so far and know it will keep me from having surgery in the future. I plan to get an X-ray towards the end of the year, and I'm already excited about the significant improvement in my spine, so I can't wait to see the difference in the images.
