Angela worked on my brother and my husband this week and they both said it was the BEST massage they've had! They have a ceiling mount so they can hang and walk massaging your back!!! If you are an athlete and love deep tissue - splurge the $100 for a 90 minute massage here. Yes, it's a strip mall, yes they don't speak good English BUT they are talented!!! My back had been hurting terribly and a woman suggested Zonology. I found one place after searching but she never returned my call so I decided to see if reflexology would help / and my sister adores these places. I'd been before years ago and found it weird but decided to try again. My therapist spoke no English, but used google translate. 60 minutes of agony followed: head massage was just pushing forcefully on my forehead and ears, my neck was yanked sideways to add a hard hot little pillow, then onto my feet. Rubbing too hard and fast over the same place just doesn't feel good or relaxing, it was painful and I told him so but the pressure or pace never let up. And he kept clearing his throat the entire time...I hope I don't catch anything. Time to pay and he is at the cash register and knows the word "tip", this time I pretended not to understand. read more

We read a review where communication was an issue. We did not have that experience. Without mentioning my injuries the masseuse found and released tension in those areas. Excellent massage therapists, we came for two 60 minute massages. Deep tissue and he knew where to focus on my lower back and stressed out neck and shoulders. I like more therapeutic massages not "foofy" relaxation massages. My friend also enjoyed her session as well. They also have foot reflexology, foot massages, 90 minute full body massages and combination foot massage, neck and back massages, "hot chair" and Chinese medicine (I don't know what this is) options. Located in a shopping center area next to a sushi place, plenty of parking. We will be back! read more

My favorite massage place! I work in the industry and have had massages all over the country. I have worked at numerous resorts and upscale hotels like the 4 seasons. While sometimes those messages are great is you aren't getting an employee discount or treatment comped I just can't bring myself to lash $145 plus automatic 20% and tax for a 50 minute massage. Sakura is my place! I have been to 2 locations and both locations are always clean and comfortable. I love how late they are open and they always have availability even when I call last minute. I love deep tissue and mosh spas charge you extra for that. Not sure. Most of the masseuses are very strong. I think I have been about 20 times and other than I not amazing massage, every other massage has been fantastic. I would absolutely recommend this place if you want a good relaxing or deep tissue massage. read more

There were many problems with the massage. First I was sold a scented oil for an extra $5 but it was so faint that it made no difference. About half way into the massage, a weird squeaking noise started that lasted almost the whole second half. When I mentioned it to the woman at the front desk and told her it was very unpleasant, she just made a hand signal to the roof. I have no idea what she was explaining. And lastly I had a nice male masseuse but he had a callus on one finger that irritated my back. All of this is very difficult to explain to people who don't have good English skills. For the price and quality of the massage this is a must. They provide a variety of massage techniques and are very vocal about you expressing what feels good . I didn't feel rushed , and the environment felt COVID safe. Everyone was masked . The only down side is that you don't get a closed off private room for some treatments . Pretty darned good. Not heavenly. My body is just a mess from extreme overuse and stress during the last 5 months. I did not expect a magical fix. This establishment seems to be top notch. Very clean, and welcoming. I went for an hour and 1/2. The price exceptionally reasonable. My experience with Chinese Massage Shops is this, you probably need to visit multiple times to find your person. As long as you request a firm or not so firm massage you can't really go wrong. I would absolutely return however I am headed back to the Pacific Northwest. Note that I am very picky, perhaps too much so. By all means give this establishment a go! You get what you pay for. It's not expensive but it's not a typical American message. They would talk to one another during the message and would just randomly leave. The message it's self was good and I would go back it was an hour message for $50. So it was good for that price point. read more

Came to try to relax my shoulder with a deep tissue massage. My whole back, shoulder, and arm area was very tight due to a fall a month ago. Jason honed in on the trouble spots and gave them an intense workout. It was not really pleasant but very useful. I was asked throughout if the pressure was OK. My arm and shoulder have not felt this good since my fall. After the shoulder work I had a 30 min foot reflexology/massage, which was a pleasant follow up. I give two thumbs up to Jason for the dedication and hard work and sensitivity to customer needs. I'll be back! read more

I highly recommend this place and just finished the best massage with David! Called to get in for a same day massage after a long hike and they were able to schedule me right away. The location was easy to find and had plenty of free parking in front. I was warmly greeted by the lady in front when walking in and given different options for my massage. I treated myself to a full body 90 minutes hot oil (60 mins full body including hot stone and 30 mins reflexology). The room was clean, peaceful and there was light music was playing in the background. David was very professional and did an excellent job checking in on the massage pressure/hot stone temperature. His technique was great using a combination of soft strokes, deep tissue, stretching, reflexology and focused muscle knot release. I left feeling much more relaxed and the price was a very good value which allows you to leave a good tip. I will definitely be back next time I am in Santa Fe. read more

Four women wanted a foot massage and Sakura was able to take us 2 at a time. In each session, one of us had a decent massage and the other was pathetic. First the okay experience: I was instructed to lie on a flat bed while my feet soaked. I received a very satisfying neck, shoulder, and arm massage. Then on to my feet. It was okay but not much variety of technique, just a lot of up and down on the sole. By this point however, lying flat on my back with no support under lower back or knees was killing me. I literally could not wait for it to be over. My friend reported this experience with a different "masseuse.": No neck or shoulder massage whatsoever. Very light arm massage. Average foot massage. The problem was that this person kept getting up to answer the phone and take care of other issues. The happened at least four times as well as taking to other staff. Taking care of other issues while doing a massage is totally unacceptable. The other two women in our group who went in after us had the same two ladies and had the same two experiences. The one who had the lesser massage said it felt like the receptionist was doubling as a masseuse. She felt like she missed 10 minutes of an hour long massage. This imposter masseuse couldn't understand why she only received a $7 tip and even disputed the time spent with the client. Overall lacking professionalism. read more
