That said, this place is great and for me matched what others rave about with Codung in Nürnberg. The prices were reasonable and the fish tasted fresh. We were very pleased!! As with restaurants in Germany, the service wasn't spectacular. Our initial interactions were great. Not too long to order and wait for food. But after food was served it was a ghost town for service. Even the dessert took 20 min. I would say it was busy and that's why, but it was Saturday night and nothing outrageous. We're not sure what happened. Our waiter was very friendly though, so that counts.
As far as food details go, my husband and I shared one of the meals for 2, and were satisfied with the quantity, taste, and price. We started with the gyoza, which were standard, but tasty. Our sushi for two consisted various rolls on a boat, and we each got their chicken miso-type soup as well. Also very good! Everyone at the table ate every morsel of their food- I guess we enjoyed it! :)
Definitely try this place out if you're looking for a good sushi fix. I can't wait to go back and try their ramen, and other sushi options.
