We were surprised to see a lunch bar as we have not eaten at a bar since COVID. The selections looked plentiful and delicious so we decided to try it. I filled my plate with many savory rice, vegetarian and meat dishes: The flavors were varied and wonderful. The garlic naan was made fresh when we sat down and brought to our table. It was amazing: flavorful, thin and slightly crispy. We deducted one star because the temperature of the food was not hot enough for our taste, especially for a food bar. I also thought several of the chicken dishes had too many bones though they were tasty. The staff were all attentive and pleasant. We will return and order off their regular menu.m; I'll then update my review.

This family-owned spot offers an amazing breakfast buffet that's filled with dishes tasting just like homemade food. The variety is impressive, and everything was fresh and delicious. Breakfast buffet items - Live dosa counter, idli, puri ( with chutney, sambhar, chicken curry), vada, pakora, pongal, kesari The staff is incredibly attentive, checking in often and always with a smile, making you feel right at home. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food offered. Will definitely visit again! Parking: Available

We ate onion bhaje, vegetable samosas, and lentil soup for appetizers. After, we feasted on buttered chicken and tikka masala with rice and garlic naan. At the end, we were brought a complimentary rice pudding each. Without a doubt the food was a 10/10. Thank you so much for having us! Not only is the inside clean, neatly decorated, and spacious, but the man who owns the business is really kind. Before we arrived, I called the restaurant to ask a few questions and I already had a really positive feeling about the place based on the call. When we finally arrived, he stopped and chatted with us briefly and made us feel really welcome. He answered all of our questions about the menu and the food and we even got to take advantage of the lunch special prices. What was really cool is that I'm from Los Angeles and he has a cousin who owns a restaurant there too - that felt like a nice happenstance and synchronicity. I hope anyone reading this supports this man and his business - it made our day!

I was worried when the parking lot was empty, but we were eating early for dinner that I blamed it on the time on a Tuesday. Now that we have tried their food, I really hope the crowds show up later because they deserve it. The food was fresh, piping hot and tasted (almost) like homemade. The aromas when you enter the restaurant let you know that they care about quality. The restaurant was set meticulously at small and large tables. The service was friendly and quick. The carryout was packed well and ready about 15 minutes after my online order. They do have a drive-thru, if that interests you. The chicken dishes were fantastic and came with Basmati. The Garlic Naan was fresh amd tasty. I am excited to branch out and try other entrees. I really hope they continue to thrive because their quality and service deserve it! If you like

We had planned to dine in but upon arrival realized they are take out only for the time being - this was on us for not calling to check. The staff were nice and helpful. We ended up ordering chicken tikka and butter chicken, both of which were AMAZING!! They were very flavorful and made fresh. They were the right amount of spicy. The tandoori naan was incredible too and made fresh. The food really hit the spot and I foresee us getting takeout from here regularly. It seems that they're known for their Bihari kabob which we didn't get, but will plan to next time! It also seems they do halwa puri on weekends, which I'm pretty excited about! Also, their prices are unbelievable for the quality and quantity of food - moving here from the DMV area, I found them to pretty low! The interior isn't anything to write home about but it generally isn't why I seek out Pakistani restaurants anyway.

I got the chapli kabob and it is sooo good. It's essentially a beef patty seasoned with aromatic spices garnished with onions, cilantro, roasted tomato and lemon. I thought it would be small but it's actually a decent size portion. I also got the nihari which is probably the most widely known Pakistani dish. It's a beef stew that's really flavorful. It's kind of oily so you can just drain the oil. This place doesn't have the best ambiance- it seems like a takeout place but the food is so tasty I am curious to try some of the other stuff now!

Best biryani in the area. Their haleem and nihari is also amazing. We also ordered catering for a party. Service was prompt, reliable, and the food was good if not better than in restaurant. Pricing is also very competitive. I highly recommend checking this place out for the food. The restaurant itself is no frills but the food makes up for it 100%.

The first time around we had the chicken biryani. While the flavor itself seemed good it was a tad salty. Also the bone-in chicken was chopped small and overcooked, as a result you had shreds of meat (no meaty chunks) and some bones with absolutely no meat on them. The second time around I asked for lamb qorma. Super oily and heavy on the stomach even with a small portion. The lamb meat was also overcooked, shreds of meat and small bits of bone which really made the entire eating experience unpleasant. Maybe I'll give this place another try some time in future with hopes of having a great meal like many of my fellow Yelpers.

Service: if I was basing the review off of service it would be a one star. Because not only was it slow, it almost felt non existent. I came here with my parents and we would've ordered more if we could get a server to our table. It's not even that big of a place, but the servers hung out by the reception area and weren't even looking up. We had to wait a while for drinks, then wait another while to order. There are a ton of other Indian restaurants that are so much more attentive, even if it's crowded, which this place was not. Ambiance: feels like they tried to be upscale, unnecessary in my opinion. Just serve good food and make sure your servers are paying attention and that's more than enough. It's not a spot I would come back to.

Ordered dosa, samosa, Gobi Manchurian, chick pea salad, dal tadka and dal makhani, butter chicken, navratina korma, and Chana masala. $117.56 The Samosa, butter chicken and chick pea salad are all good. The samosa is maybe a bit too heavy and doughy. The potato and peas are mashed inside. The cilantro chutney is good, spicy too. Butter chicken is tasty. The chick pea salad is just fresh and yummy. Dosa was okay, not loving the tomato or coconut chutneys so much. Sambar soup is good. The dal makhani and Chana was not for either of us. Makhani is super buttery and runny. The Chana has a very unexpected taste and look, the sauce it's cooked in is quite brown here. The dal tadka, korma and Gobi were just okay. Both lentils are super runny. The korma isn't too bad. Their version has tofu in it. Sauce is good. Not a lot of veggies to it. Gobi was crispy, but their chili sauce is not so good. My husband usually favors the Chana masala, but he wasn't fond of their version so much. Would skip the Chana, Gobi and the dal makhani and maybe even the dal tadka next time. Service here is good.

First, Ziggy the owner is exceptionally hospitable. He will personally come to your table to make sure you love what you ordered. Ive been a customer for several years and since the first time I came to Paradise Ziggy always goes above and beyond. Secondly, the food has consistently been excellent. A few years ago I used to order biryani trays for parties then started coming in for carry out or dine in and every time everything I have tried is top notch. Recently I had their butter chicken and wow I was very impressed, it's by far the best (which says a lot!) I've had and surprisingly in a good way is more like a chicken tikka masala and not too heavy/creamy. Thirdly, they are open later than most indian restaurants in Troy and even delivery is 5 stars on uber eats or DoorDash. They don't skimp on quality when it's delivered through a third party service. Paradise makes sure they surpass your expectations every time no matter if it's catering, dine-in, carryout or delivery. If you haven't tried Paradise, definitely give it a try and hopefully you get to experience the warmth that Ziggy brings to each and every customer.
