We started with an appetizer of octopus, green olive sauce, and potatoes, and the octopus was done perfectly! Next up was lemon ricotta gnocchi with shrimp and a zucchini cream sauce. These gnocchi were so light and fluffy, and the sauce was jam-packed with flavor! Our next course was pan fried mackerel with an eggplant caponata. This dish was the right combination of sweet and salty! My mom and I wanted to just eat the caponata by the spoonful! Since everything else was so delicious, we had to order dessert. Our server recommended the watermelon jelly, because it was a traditional Sicilian dish. The watermelon jelly was served with a crumble topping, cinnamon whipped cream, and chocolate shavings. Amazing! All in all, an epic meal!
