I ate here as part of a business lunch. We were served a multiple course meal. The meal started with a salad which was very light. The next course was a çorba (soup), which was delicious but very buttery. Next, was chicken thighs topped with some greens and surrounded by an orange sauce. Finally, we had a mixed dessert platter, which contained pudding and various fruit sauces (mango, pumpkin). The meal ended with our choice of coffee or tea.
During the meal, I was very impressed and delighted by all of the dishes. I especially enjoyed the dessert platter. However, a few hours later I realized that the food was contaminated because I was stricken with food poisoning on my five hour bus ride. The restaurant appeared to be very clean, but I believe the chicken was undercooked which caused me to become very ill.
Overall, this is a very nice restaurant in a historical part of Ankara. However, I absolutely cannot recommend it after I had very bad food poisoning following my meal here. Beware of the chicken.
