The people and the environment is very inviting. Even the bathroom is decorated nice and it is big and clean. The food is delicious and they have many choices like, Mexican, French, Italian, American and also Turkish. The prices are about 25-35 TLs which is very reasonable for this place. I highly recommend this place to anyone

Maybe 2,5 or 2,75 stars instead of three…read more Neighborhood eatery with friendly service but it's not as cozy as its Tandoğan location. The Maltepe branch is HUGE. That's great if you want to sit outside on the sidewalk of a very busy street, where exhaust can linger after an otobus passes. However I don't like the cavernous interior, which is much more impersonal. I visited this Gümüş location since my friend organized a Mediterranean breakfast. I'm still not entirely sure how it differs from a Turkish breakfast... other than the over-easy egg, cin boregi and sosis on a skewer. All of which I could pass up because they're greasy. We arrived at 11-ish for a leisurely meal... but witnessed the lunch hour traffic which included several men in suits.

I really wish the mugs were HUGE for tea, coffee or chocolate... I mostly love this place because it's got schtick. Nostalgia for classic Turkish films and actors. THERE'S A FILM / SCREENING ROOM! The menu is creative, referencing films instead of boring descriptions of food. Everything comes with fries :) I also like the strange climb I need to take if I want to sit inside near the giant mural of a locamotive.
