However, this restaurant was actually pretty nice. The interior was a typical Chinese theme, of course. The quality of the food was also decent as well, and the employees there ensured that there would always been enough food around as well as keeping it clean there. But if you go there, you aren't limited to just the buffet, you are also able to order off the menu as well, such as bento boxes, chirashi sushi, and other delicious Asian foods. I just got the buffet because it was only € 7, and it was all you can eat. One might think that a cheap buffet or cheap sushi is suspicious, but really there was nothing wrong with the food at all and it was tasty. The thing I like about places like these are that they are away from the tourist traps and the city centre, and as I've stated in another review, I'm all about supporting these small businesses in the neighborhood. And when they really make an effort to make the food of good quality as well as excellent customer service, it's all just a plus. The € 7 buffet is only between the hours of 11:30 - 15:00. But don't let that stop you from visiting the place; there are still plenty of other menu options for a decent price. You won't regret it.

Of course some things suffer from sitting out a little too long like my sweet & sour soup barely being luke-warm. I didn't find anything outstanding here but I did like that they served sushi and that there were pomegranates in the desert buffet. I also liked that they have a nice selection of sauces. Now what didn't I like about Bamboo. I didn't like the staff working here. They were just not friendly at all and they never once came to clear the used dishes from the table. Also there were no labels at all at the buffet. Sometimes I would like to know what I am selecting to eat. And finally a glass of water here costs 50 cents. Bamboo lies within my district and so there is always a chance for a return visit. But I am trying to think why I would do that!?!

We were craving Chinese vegetables and seafood after eating lots of meats for the past two weeks. Our selected raw food items were perfectly cooked to order by the grill chef. We also ate from the dinner buffet. Their hot and sour soup, miso soup, sushi and shrimp tempura were excellent. Duck and chicken were also delicious. Sesame balls and various fruits for dessert were a plus. Their happy hour is a good deal between 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
