November 24, 2019 Great sermon- new pastor is hilarious, intelligent and awesome. Worship awesome. He really said things that moved my heart. I Needed to use the bathroom after service- not so awesome. Huge line for ladies room, then I wanted to use the family room bathroom and two ladies said I cannot use it because it was dirty I said I will use it anyway. Then, one man told me to go next store to the other building and I said I need to use the bathroom and they denied me of the bathroom. Instead I went to the deli nearby and they let me use their bathroom. They ask everybody for money every week but they do not allow a woman use the bathroom when she needs to. What kind of church is this? Or should I say what type of people are at this church? They want my money but I cannot use their bathroom? Pretty sad. read more

I am reviewing Christ Tabernacle so those who might be looking for services on Resurrection weekend who don't know where to go if you live in Brooklyn this is a good choice. Christ Tabernacle is a non denominational church that is racially mixed as any NYC church should be racially mixed. In fact I would never go to a church with only one or two nationalities. Here is their schedule of services for this coming weekend. Easter Service times: Saturday, April 23rd at 7pm; Sunday, April 24th at 8:30am; 10:15am; 12pm; 1:45pm, and; 3:30pm in Spanish. Christ Tabernacle is a sister Church to the Brooklyn Tabernacle. It is nearly impossible to get a seat at the Brooklyn Tabernacle so you might want to head here instead. It has been around for years. They said it is more down to earth and the people are friendly. It is a real Brooklyn church with a Brooklyn vibe with real New Yorkers who attend. Because the church is less famous but just as good you are more likely to get a seat on a holiday than the more famous churches like the Brooklyn Tabernacle. Greeeeat church!!!!!! CT is non-denominational Christian. The church itself is awsum, used to be a movie theater. Its very spacious and has balcony seating. The sound system blows you away and they have 2 large screens on both the right and the left side, where they often play videos, lyrics to songs and slideshows. They experience: It gets really crowded and sometimes there mite be a line to get in (especially on holidays or days were they are having one of there magnificent shows) so you mite want to get there early. Ushers are all super friendly and welcoming and so are all the visitors. Pastor is super relatable and almost makes you forget you are in church, no snooze fest here......he is filled with lots of great advice, you can SEE the Lord speaking through him. The famous Christ Tabernacle choir is out of control awsum, they get the crowd going, filling the church with there amazing energy. This choir is a MUST SEE, even if your not looking to frequent this place, you should got to check out there "performance", guarantee your going to like it! They have an annual Christmas show with has several performance dates through out the month of December, show gets better and better every year! They have lots of different ministries to get involved in as they are a large location with a large number of members. They also have activities for the youth, kids and teens! Parking is a little crazy in this neighborhood, but I hear CT now has a parking lot a few blocks away. (Again....get there early and it shouldn't be to bad to find a parking) Very spiritual, enjoyable, deep experience! read more

Christ tabernacle is a Non-denominational church that has an amazing worship for all ages. I found the church when I first moved the neighborhood. They have two locations: main campus which is located on myrtle and a second campus that is Spanish speaking which is in Bushwick. They are about 15-20 minutes away from each other. I go to the main campus as my Spanish es no bueno. The choir and band basically the worship service as a whole is amazing! Everyone I have met is super friendly and super helpful. This is my go to church when I'm home on the weekends. read more

I love this church. The pastors give a great word. They break it down and relate to your everyday life experiences. Not to mention the awesome choir that sings so beautifully, you feel like your at a concert. Very warm and welcoming.Only down side for me is I moved to NJ, mission to get there but when I do it's well worth my time. Come out feeling renewed and refreshed. Good morning everyone,. I saw all the great reviews below and heard great reports for years about this church. So I went for a visit for the very first time. This is my observations and impressions:. Upon arrival, it was not overly crowded and was manageable for me to navigate in and out of the church. I noticed there were beautiful sparkly chandeliers hanging from the ceiling at the front door and over the landing of the stairs. There is an elevator for easy access for people who have difficulty with stairs. The Hosts/ ushers were outstandingly kind and helpful. Whoever leads that ministry is full of prayer and annointed. Throughout my time spent there, the Hosts helped me with everything. Their service and hospitality was unique and special, I have not the words to describe how wonderful blessing they were to me. The sanctuary was too dark. The lights were turned down like a theater show. I was unable to read my Bible through the preaching and could hardly see anything to write down the references to Bible scriptures. The music was too loud, way too loud and did interfere with my worship. The electric guitar and drums, singing and moving light show of a couple of color lights and loudness reminded me of more a rock concert during my rock concert days when I was young and unsaved. Did not like it much and not my taste to go be drawn into the presence of God. It was all too distracting and too loud. The preaching was curious. The message was specifically about the death of Jesus Christ. He preached about half an hour and during that time, never did he even mention that significants and power of the shedding blood of Jesus Christ. It was a politically correct message not to offend anyone. Wow. Not good! After the service, I was introduced to the Senior Pastor. I told him about my dreadful life threatening medical diagnosis. He said he will pray for me and began to pray. No oil was used . He never anointed me with oil to pray for this sick sister. Then after he prayed, before he opened his eyes, he turned his head away from me and opened his eyes looking off to his left, stood up and walked away from me without saying a single word to me. Dismissed me. Ice cold! I will never return to Christ Tabernacle. It not a place for me. God never sends you to a church where you are not needed and not wanted. read more

Very nice church if you're looking for something different from Catholic. The choir members are great singers. Every Sunday they have something different in store. They have concert style church for children 5 and older and preschool setting for 4 and under. Must try at least once. read more

Yea this place is awesome. I've only been about 5 times but everyone is so nice and chill and my 5 year old son loves the free pizza they had in the tent outside afterwards The band is KILLER and the message is great, they're not afraid to talk about the real issues and it's not sugar coated or phony, it's all done for the right reasons (as far as I can tell).
