As a couple, my wife and I have been to lifestyle clubs in Vegas, Chicago, Jamaica and Philly. We've seen enough of them to know what works and what doesn't so I'm giving you the straight story on Saints & Sinners in Philly. I don't work at this place and I've only been here once. Just want to get that out of the way, this is a real review. We went on Friday night (6/7/13) in the middle of a torrential downpour and arrived around 11pm. We pulled into the parking area across Emery Street under I-95, very convenient because of the rain and I'm guessing it will be an even bigger advantage in the winter. There was a doorman sitting outside the very well lit building and he came across the street with an umbrella to walk my wife to the door. She was already impressed and they won major points on that one. I had purchased a membership online but not the nightly admission fee so we had to go to the front desk to handle that. Right away we were stuck by how nice this place was on the inside. The manager gave us a tour of the lower level before we went up and I have to say it's very clean and logically laid out. There are multiple private and public play rooms with raised vinyl covered play areas, not mattresses strewn on the floor like at another local place we usually go to. There are bathrooms on the lower level and a very convenient bar area that opens when it gets hoppin', but I'll get to that later. Another cool feature of this part of the club is there is a private shower and locker area tucked away in the back. It's not out in the open so you don't have to clean up and change at the end of the night in front of everyone. So we make our way up to the top level and before getting there we stopped at sort of a landing area that had nice little alcove with booth style seating around a stripper pole that looked like it could be fun for a smaller group. When we got to the top level, all I can say is WOW! Like I said, I've been to quite a few of these places and this is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to decor. If you didn't know this was a lifestyle club, it could easily pass for a hip ultra-lounge in the city. I don't know who designed this place, but they hit a home run. Beyond the quality of the stuff used for tables and seating, what I was impressed with most was how efficiently they used the space because the building is rather narrow. Even the DJ booth was lofted to allow for seating beneath it. We wound up talking to the manager and the DJ for quite some time and to say the staff is friendly is an understatement. They were extremely welcoming and I think they're eager for this club to really take off (which it should) and they were very excited to talk about the place. I went to the men's room on the upper level and I gotta say, top notch. Totally clean, like 1000 times better than the one restroom at PGC. It was the kind of bathroom you'd want in your house, but nicer. My wife had the same opinion of the ladies room. There was a buffet, but I didn't check it out because who goes there to eat anyways? There is a stripper pole in the middle of the good sized dance floor. One other cool thing about this place? No smoking inside. I know a lot of people will gripe about that, but smokers should be pretty accustomed to stepping outside nowadays and it was really awesome to get into the car at the end of the night and not reek like an ashtray. I don't want to oversell it here, but this place is aesthetically amazing. There are a few drawbacks but I think they can be overcome pretty easily. The first is that the upper bar area is relatively narrow only because they are constricted by the width of the building, not really their fault, they did an amazing job with what they had to work with. I could foresee where this would become an issue if it gets packed and, as always, people are hanging around the bar too long and others can't make their way through the crowd to get a drink. I think the bar on the lower level should help take some of the pressure of the upper bar when they get busy. Which leads me to my second point. The crowd was rather sparse. Granted, this is a relatively new club and these things are generally advertised by word of mouth, but a place of this caliber should (and probably will) be packed to the gills. I truly think if they put some pics of the interior of this place on their website, it would sway a lot of people to jump ship from PGC. We probably would have gone here 2 months sooner had we known what we know now. If you go to their website there are 4 pages of pics for the AC club and none for Philly. I'm only saying this because I want this place to succeed, we'd rather spend our time and money here where it's less skeevy, than to deal with all the lurkers you get at PGC. For my 2 cents, this place is beyond cool and I'm glad we bought a year membership because we plan on coming back again and again. read more

We have seen worse places around the country ... but there are definitely some better options in Philadelphia if you're looking for a good lifestyle club. The parking under I-95 is currently a bit of a disaster, as they are doing road construction in and around the area and the parking lot is currently pretty tore up and being shared with construction equipment. The building is about the width of 2 row homes and they have done an ok job with using the limited space that they have to create a club with a dance floor, 2 undersized bars (hard to get a drink on a busy night), a small buffet (very limited food selection) and some play areas. Our biggest issue would be that due to the layout of the building, there is no way to avoid climbing up and down all of the stairs ... come in the front door ... down a half flight of stairs to check in ... than you can walk back through the play areas ... and decide if you would like to go down another half flight of stairs to the locker area ... or head up a flight and a half of stairs to get to the dance floor and bar ... all done drinking and dancing ...want to go play or head home ... back down that flight and a half of stairs. We are certainly not old and disabled (and you definitely wouldn't get around this club if you were)... but after a few drinks ... what women is going to enjoy climbing up and down all these stairs in high heels? The people were a bit clicky, but the staff was friendly ... we will probably go back sometime, but only midweek if none of the other local clubs are open on a Wednesday or Thursday ... but for the money on a Friday or Saturday night ... we will just head to one of the bigger clubs in the city that's larger, more open and all on one floor. read more

New to the Lifestyle and never to a club so we were leery to say the least. The location seemed out of the way and hidden and we had to make a decision. Turned out to be very accessible from I 95 AND Sooo glad that we went!!! Talk about Philadelphia's Best Kept secret. The Manager's (husband and wife) took us in and on a tour we were made to feel more than welcome. The Place is classy and Cleaner than most restaurants. (bathrooms too) The Bar tenders are awesome and the DJ. and his girl are da bomb. If regular clubs operated as this one did we would be a party city minus the other crap! Yes no smoking and they do not tolerate any bull so check that drama at the door or better yet stay home. Well worth the trip from anywhere in the tri state area. We know this how? Cause we have traveled to other supposed Hot Spots and they turned out to be dirty dives living of there name of yesteryear. Affordable, classy, clean, friendly and rocking staff. One Of the Best Clubs I Ever Been To!! You walk in And Be Greeted By a Doorman then You walk down stairs and See a lovely Coat Girl Witch i Tipped 5 bucks cause she was Cute. Then You Meet The Managers Dan and Jenn Very nice people! Jenn Give us a tour of the Club 3 Floors 4 bathrooms a unisex Shower. 6 Rooms on the First Floor another Bar With 2 Bathrooms. 2 Floor Has a Private Pole room with a circle couch around the bar Then you walk upstairs to A Huge Room with A Nice Pole in the Center of the Dance Floor With 2 sections Of Chairs and Couches . Then You Walk up To the Bar and i Met A Beautiful Bartender Named Andi She was Topless Bonus Points!!! We met alot of great people very respectful. Hi Everyone I Just need an opinion about me going as a single woman on NYE. I wanted to experience something different. My friends do not agree. I would have to Uber which would be about $300.00 round trip, plus I need to reserve a hotel, which I did not yet. I am doing this last minute. But I just wanted to make sure it would be worth all the expense. Just want to have an amazing NYE. I am 49 and feel like I am 35 lol. Would so appreciate any input. I don't know what all the negative reviews are about with this club. I have been going there since Oct of 2012 and have never had any issues at all. The building while looking like a warehouse from the outside is beautiful inside. Yes you have to pay a yearly membership fee and the door fee your first night but I would never say it's over priced. There is someone outside watching your cars all night (not that it's needed but better safe then sorry). The music is always good but if you don't like what you're hearing just ask the DJ to play something different. He is always open to requests. This place is clean, welcoming, safe and beautiful, what more can you ask for. read more

Stay away! 1) it's totally overpriced. You need to get a year membership AND pay an entry fee every time you go. It's about $85 just to go for one night. 2) the parking and neighborhood are terrible. 3) it looks totally cheesy inside; like a bad idea of a swinger's club. 4) last but ABSOLUTELY not least is they're homophobic. There's a rule against public male-male sexual interaction, so if you're a gay couple, you have to go behind closed doors. So if you're a gay couple and you pay the exorbitant fee to go to this place (which I did once and will never again) you get shuttered right back into the closet. No thank you!! read more

This is a great lifestyle club. When you first pull up to it, it doesn't look like much. It is certainly discreet. When you walk in you are greeted right away which I appreciated. Everyone makes you feel comfortable. It has a great club/lounge atmosphere where you can mingle with people and/or dance. It looks very classy and the people who attend are very nice and inviting as well. I have been there a few times and never had a bad experience. Actually every time I leave there I can't wait to go back because that's how much fun I had. read more

We had our first visit here last night and were impressed. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is BYO and we ran out of sooner than we expected. No matter because the bartender set us up with drinks from the stash of vodka from previous patrons. Music was good and energetic. Private rooms were clean and well stocked. Our impression was that the crowd was mostly 40 and below. We are in our 50s so were hoping for some couples closer in age to us. No matter because we still had a great time. read more

WooHoo! As good as it gets is exactly how much we love Saints and Sinners. The people were sexy, sassy, fun and boy did they love to play. The new owners are obviously not afraid to spend a buck and it shows. All the rooms look great, nice and clean, we really appreciate the parking attendent, who watched our car. Very clean, beautiful inside, well laid out, great staff, covered parking and security both inside and outside of the building. Clean, fun, and safe. This is the exact opposite of the Pleasure Garden. S&S (Saints and Sinners) is an upscale club. Multiple open and private play rooms, friendly staff that are always visible, and an excellent atmosphere. My wife and I enjoy our time here and look forward to our visits. The clientele is also way different than PGC. Truly an upscale club for people who appreciate the finer points of adult entertainment. read more
