From the staff, to volunteers and guests, everybody is so welcoming and my wife and I love the community here. We meet at a high school every Sunday, so many opportunities to serve and get involved with different ministries. Also, the transparency of the church is incredibly refreshing. The pastors and their leadership council had a meeting to talk about the annual finances and invited the whole church to attend if they were interested to learn about how they are stewarding their finances. Highly recommend visiting for any Bay Area church seekers!

This church is a wonderful place for young people and anyone older looking to mentor people. This is not an in and out kind of church, this is a church that wants to involve everyone and make everyone feel known. This church is known for the outreach they do in the community, truly practicing what they preach. This is the church you're looking for if you're looking for raw, messy, true faith. It's not a feel good place, but one will talk about the real issues that we all relate to and need grace for. Everyone here will make you feel welcomed no matter what background you come from.

Since SIP, they've been having virtual worship services, bible studies, homegroups, knitting groups, and children's activities on-line. They are English-speaking and mostly Asian-American. I recommend OVCC to anyone who is looking for a local church with a strong on-line presence.

They do about 4-5 songs per congregation lead by a strong worship group. Overall, it is completely different from my catholic upbringing - no book readings, no "breaking the bread" book. I do enjoy coming here, but prepare yourself for that different structure. The focus here is on people and relationships. It's a strong community that exudes "extended family". They are welcoming and accepting, although it takes a while before feeling like one of the "in crowd". Some reasons to consider going: -starts at 9:30am -significant child care (baby to youth) -lots of events each week (bible study, group meetings) -food and drink after each congregation -diversity of discussion from the two pastors

When my husband and I walked in, we were greeted by beautiful brothers and sisters of Christ. Their warm welcome and kind hearts helped make us feel very comfortable. The Pastor has such a humble way of spreading God's Word and he truly is a brother that is blessed with honesty and integrity. After the sermon, we were truly uplifted and enjoyed the brothers and sisters that are in this Holy Place. We are excited to continue our Walk in Christ and continue our journey with the new blessings of a new church, new Pastor and new brothers and sisters. What a beautiful Sunday!! Thank you, Jesus!!

I love a house that unapologetically preaches the Bible and not only that, equips its members to actually live it out. When my now husband and I started dating last January, he started coming to church with me. I invited him into something that had already changed my life, and then I got to watch it change his. The leadership here is so intentional and so dedicated to people. They really see you. They call things out of you that you might even miss in yourself. Watching him get activated in his faith was so special because it was real. It was genuine growth. Because of that culture that is so beautiful here at Vive, we have both been able to step more confidently into our calling of leading the next generation. It feels like such an honor to be in a place that does not just talk about purpose but actually equips you to walk in it. If I am being honest, when I first started coming years ago, I was hesitant to fully get involved. I would show up and serve but still keep parts of myself guarded. Once I really leaned in and allowed the leadership and community to love on me, everything shifted. The last three years especially have been exponential growth in my faith. My relationship with God is deeper, more personal, and more intentional than it has ever been. And it is not just a church, it is a family. I met my closest friends here. My wedding was full of people from this house. We have been continuously blessed by the leadership and guidance we have received, not just spiritually but in our careers and personal lives. Every aspect of our lives has been touched by leaders who genuinely dedicate their time to pour into you and go the extra mile for you. I am so grateful for a church that invests in people, believes in them, and calls them higher. This place has strengthened my faith, impacted my marriage, and positioned us to lead with confidence and conviction.
