I love coming here, and treat myself occasionally for that something special. Owned by a very friendly couple, Saints have gained a lot of popularity here in Birmingham. They have staff who have worked in other top salons, and they make you feel very special. (This is the place to go to check out the hot talent of Birmingham! You'll always find someone nice to look at in here) A lot of attention has been paid to fitting this out to quite a high standard, many other establishments should take note. A large vase with beautiful fresh Lillie's that fills the salon with a wonderful and delightful ambiance and fragrance strikes you when you walk in. Comfy black leather seating, and you get free drinks whilst you wait! Try the little cappuccino machine, I did, and also helped myself to the snacks and lollies. :) The hairdresser knows his stuff and for £25, I was very happy. They spend good time with you, and ask a lot of questions on what works for you. Take their advice, don't be afraid to try something new. My hairdresser thinned out my hair, and I loved it, but also appreciated the effort and time he spent with me, it was so nice that he didn't rush. An award winning service I would recommend to anyone, boys and girls. Go on, because your worth it. read more

Yet another fine example of one of Birminghams nicest salons. Digbeth is fast becoming the go to place for all things stylish and this salon is a gorgeous addition to the area. I like going here for a full cut and colour as the service is excellent and the surrounding extremely stylish. The guy who cuts my hair is really chatty and always makes me feel welcome. A friend of mine first recommended it to me as she regularly comes here to get her hair coloured. Having your hair done should be a relaxing and luxurious experience which is exactly what the team at Saint Salons offers. read more

Saint Salons is a unisex salon situationed in Inge Street in the China Town/Gay Quarter, just off Hurst St next to the Hippodrome Theatre. It's one of the biggest salons I've seen, big and airy and ultra-modern. The two guys who run it are absolutely lovely and just perfect for me - I'm totally loyal to this salon now. They are friendly, helpful and polite and are happy to make constructive comments and give you advice about styles. If there's one thing I can't stand it's a stylish who won't give you advice on what might suit you or whether an idea you have will work or not. They do all types of cuts and one of the partners does the cutting and one is a colour specialist. They've expanded a lot lately and now have a beauty salon and tanning area and even offer Botox by a qualified visiting medical practioner! It's the little touches that make the most difference though - the big plasma TV with subtitles do it's doesn't disturb everyone else. The unlimited free drinks, cold and hot including nice coffees and even including wine! The comfortable big leather sofas and plenty of newspapers and magazines to read. For a city centre salon which will even give you a free glass of wine, the prices are pretty reasonable and they've never once given me a bad cut - the service is always absolutely top rate. A lot of stylists and salons start to take you for granted once they think they've got you as a loyal customer, but no here - which I why I think I'll be a loyal customer myself for many years to come! read more

I have had my hair done by the two guys that run Saint only four times now but i can definatley say that i shall remain loyal to Mathew and Richard until i have no hair upon my head! As someone else quite rightly said about Saint, they don't mind giving advice and good advice at that, i can practically go in there and say Do what you like darling! I'm easy! Aha because they really know what suits, i've taken many friends in their and watched one of the guys pitch them an idea, my friend dubiously accepts the idea, the guys begin to work and 'boila' she is immediatley transformed. The prices are very reasonable for such good quality work, they're very friendly genuine guys who seem to take alot of pride in their work. As soon as i entered the salon, i thought the person who had recommended me may have mis-heard me when i told them about my eighty pound budget for a cut and colour because the service is wonderful. There is no snotty teen to take your coat or wash your hair, instead you are greated with a chilled out atmosphere and wine if you like! I was thrilled by all of the little novelties and wonderful details. The magazine selection is vast- from Quick Chat to Vogue Bazar. All in all it's not just going to get your hair done, it's visiting a few friends and having a little drink and watching a little tele whilst having your hair done. read more

I recently went to Saint Salon after doing some research online of City Centre Salons and some close to me on Kings Heath High st. After reading previous reviews on lots of Salons, Saint Salon sounded the best, so i thought I would try it. I had shoulder length hair that just brushed out and was rather frizzy. My previous Stylist just seem to make it worse with each visit and my hair was getting shorter on each visit. I decied to bite the bullet and go for a short bob. Anything to stop me having to keep putting it up in a ponytail. On arrival at Saint Salon i was made very welcome and offered refreshment and magazines. The salon is nicely decorated and welcoming with a nice casual relaxed feel. I felt very comfortable. Richard cut my hair and adviced me againt a Bob unless it was what i truly wanted, which it wasnt but i was just fed up with this square shaped Frizz. Richard suggested cutting the length slightly and adding more layers and shaped it round my face. It looks and feel great i am not really someone who puts alot of effort into doing my hair but with this cut I dont have too. I am so pleased with it and the whole experience. I will be spreading the good news about Saint Salon and i will be going their again. I can honestly say that i think i have finally found the little gem i have been looking for, and as they own the premises i think i am safe in the knowledge that they will not be moving anytime soon! Thanks. read more

I was booked in for a colour with Phil and a cut and blow dry with Sam. Initially it was a very nice experience, offered drinks etc. then Phil discussed my colour with me and was very knowledgable and helpful. He passed me on to Sam also to discuss what I wanted. My first impressions of her were sligtly alarming as I felt she was not dressed suitably to suit but I put that down to her being young. However I also had a strong impression that she was not fully confident. How right I was! Phil's approach and application simply cannot be faulted. He was very professional and put me completely at ease and my resulting colour was just what wanted. Unfortunately, I felt that Sam was the complete opposite. I felt that she didn't really know what she was doing and was extremely slow. I ended up having to explain again what I wanted but she still seemed unsure. She was slow, uncommunicative and left me feeling extremely disappointed at what was initially a lovely experience. I would certainly return to Saint but would definitely NOT recommend Sam. Sorry :( read more

I have being going to Saint for over 3 years and have been meaning to write this review ever since my first time there so here it finally is! I have my hair cut by Richard and i have to say that he has consistently been giving me the best cut and finish that i have ever had (and i have been to all the big name salons for over 20years!) Richard, Matthew and the team always greet you with a smile and are so laid back and approachable. At saint i feel that i am treated as an individual and not like i am on a production line like at other salons. The salon is really groovy and stylish. I really look forward to my experience there knowing that i will be treated with warmth and respect just like being at friends (free refreshments too!!) and that i will walk out of Saint with a fantastic cut and a lovely glossy mane! Well done Saint you are the best! read more

Living Social Deals had this offer for a full head colour and cut for £35 - it sounded way to good to be true, but I purchased one for me and one for my mum. We were greated by Sam who got us a lovely cup of coffee and sat us down on the lovely comfy sofa. We were then taken to our seats for the magic to be done! Sam really took an interest in my style and offered advice on future looks to go for and after 3 hours (it was a little longer than i hoped, but it was a welcome break from chores!) my new cut and colour was revealed - I absolutely love it. My moms hair looks better than it has in years too, so we are converted Saints now! read more

I was very impressed by Saint Salons. After terrible experiences from other hairdressers in Birmingham, Saint Salons have transformed my opinions. Richard did a great job with my haircut and Matthew dyed it straight afterwards and they both were friendly, professional, took their time to make sure it was right and gave great customer service. I will be recommending all my friends and colleagues, I have now found my hairdressers for life. Modern, warm and welcoming salon, clean and did not have to wait. It is worth waiting for and will be coming back again. read more

My friend recommended me to Saint after she got her hair done there and I wasn't disappointed. They gave my hair a complete over-haul including new colour, cut and hair-treatment. I was really pleased with the results and feel I can now recommend it to everyone else!!! The salon was really friendly and unpretentious and the best thing is it's open really late so I can get there after work. Try it yourself - it's definately worth a visit!!! read more

I've just moved to Birmingham. I found Saints Salons through a Wowcher deal and cannot think of anything but good things to say about it. Matthew and Richard are both brilliant. They very clearly care about thier work. They made me feel welcome, made my hair look swish and made it feel fantastic too. I had every confidence in the suggestions made and couldn't be happier with the result. This is the best salon I have ever been to. read more
