So I spent near $500 for a lesson in diagnosing my cars issues. First I learned it only costs 85 plus tax to plug in a code reader. I also learned that this machine may or may not tell you what's wrong. However I did learn some very useful trouble shooting steps that can help. After that they wanted to charge me $150 for a new part called a fuel injector, and then another 3 hours of labor at $159 per hour. When I watched a YouTube video, it shows me how to do the job in 10 minutes. I went and bought the same part at another store for $62, and replaced it in 10 minutes. It did not fix it. I broke down and spent another $65 at Amazon for a 4 pack and replaced all 4 injectors. Car is now running like new. Wish I had figured it out $500 sooner, but lesson we'll learned. And by the way, you can buy your own 5 star rated code reader for only $26 plus tax at Amazon. I hope I have saved other people some money. read more
