BUT would you expect a shop/supermarket with full service butcher, fresh baked bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, countless tempting cakes, fresh flowers and plants, wide variety of beers and ciders, many wines, champagnes, gins and so much more - I think not! But at this service stop by the motorway this is exactly what you get!! A Wholefoods or Gelmans (for you Americans) or actually even better - a farmers market with all the trimmings - Wow!! I would say unique but it isn't - I asked and there are 3 more - a second (I assume) identical one on the Southbound side of the M5 motorway and two more elsewhere in Gloucestershire. Needless to say - two thumbs up! Sadly I just wish there was one closer to home!

The thing that sets it apart from the rest is its 24hr opening times. With many student halls dotted about and many students with rumbling tummies at 5am - this is good to know.

At the moment Asda petrol stations seem to be consistantley offering the cheapest fuel prices about, usual 1p bellow it's next closest competetor. 1p might not sound alot, but if you are filling your tank up at least once every 2 weeks you will notice the difference in price.

A filling station that is so much more!…read more This is really handy if I'm heading north in the car. It has an ATM which is free, and so far I've never found it empty. It's also great for getting those goodies you need on a journey - chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. Also great for bread and milk emergencies. No, I don't think I've ever bought petrol here but I have used their air.
