It was like a dream. COS (Collection of Style) is H&M's stylish and refined older sister. Its higher price point allows for ample inventiveness and interesting fabrics. Some of it's a bit over the top for me but nevertheless I often manage to find classic pieces here that I want to wear over and over again. This store - Stockholm's COS flagship - is one of the best stocked I've seen in Europe.

I fell in love with a striped sweater in this charming Söder boutique but sadly it did not love me back and refused to fit properly (persons of petite persuasion may often find this to be the case in Sweden, the smallest sizes are often not all that small.) However I did strike gold in my quest for traditional Swedish raggsockor (hand knit wool socks) and picked up a pair to give as a gift. And I ended up finding a pretty perfect white t-shirt for myself too!
