What a fantastic experience! Our Boy Scout troop was camping at Fiesta Island and when presented with some options on what to do on a day away from camp, chose Sailing on the Jada. The camp's description didn't do it justice. Our time on the Jada was a sailing class on the water! Perfect for Boy Scouts that were working on the Small Boat Sailing merit badge and learning to sail catamarans. Carole broke the boys into four groups and had them raise the sails, learn knots, learn how to read navigational charts, and steer the boat! The groups would rotate so everyone had an opportunity. The cruise around the harbor was beautiful and Carole and the crew filled us in on the sites and history. We'd do this again in a heartbeat. read more

We booked a private charter in July 2024. WOW, the JADA team did not disappoint. Carole was an absolute pleasure to work with while making the arrangements. My dear friend and I went on a lovely sail last Sunday as the COVID restrictions slowly lifted. Everything was very sanitary, masks were required (unless you were snacking or sipping a beverage). The sail was the perf length. They hand blankets when it got chilly (May gray is a real thing in San Diego, people!). Always bring layers. Once the crew saw that we were ready to get our hands dirty, they let us take part in raising the sails and making adjustments. They were very friendly and taught us what to consider with sailing etiquette and wind behavior. This is an amazing experience for a day. The boat sales like a dream and was a comfortable trip for our group of 20. We were able to move about the deck reasonably well while under sail. The crew of 3 took very good care of us. They provided soft drinks and water. Options for additional services are available but we did not require them for our trip. Due to my previous amazing experience sailing on Jada, I wasn't short of a fantastic idea when it was time to host a very special birthday party :) I and Carole exchanged numerous e-mails to go over each and every detail for the party. I reserved the boat for 3 hours on a Sunday afternoon and our party of 15 had an amazing time! Carole is a wonderful hostess. We had discussed and I had taken a bunch of appetizers, she asked me what order I would like them to be served and kept the food coming. Beer /Wine is included and she was kind enough to serve the birthday boy's favorite beer. We had an absolutely fantastic time and would highly recommend Sail Jada for a private party! read more

Sail Jada hosted a group of girls for a bachelorette party and it was a really great time! The staff ordered us sandwiches and had them delivered and took care of helping us get ice in the coolers and making us comfortable. The only thing that was miscommunicated that made us set sail 15 minutes late was parking. We tried to park in the lot that the Jada staff recommended and the parking attendants said that we were not allowed to do that. This caused us to park further away and took a while for us to get to the marina. I recommend that the parking situation get figured out so that guests can set sail on time. read more
