One thing to note about the property and every restaurant here - it's very kid friendly and lots of parents with young kids vacation here. So kids being kids (or babies crying a bit) is something to expect. In the end let's talk about the food. It's delicious. Simple clean delicious. To eat in a beautiful setting and have great food - isn't that what relaxing at a resort is all about (and mind you many resorts in America have really bad food and are equally expensive) Only reason for 4 stars is we felt the sister restaurant Balearic was better and deserved the 5 stars

The frustrating part was the waitress kept looking over at us every time she came into the room. There were three other tables and they didn't look like they were getting much food or service either. We ended up dinning at the restaurant next to castle on the way to Canyamel and had a wonderful meal.
