I took 2 pairs of pants to be hemmed; I was a bit concerned because both had elastine and not that easy to hem. For the 2 pants it was $40, which I thought it was a bit high. However, when I got back my pants they did a great job (like it came straight from the store). I was so happy with the quality of work $40 seemed reasonable now. The owner was really nice and friendly. I would definitely go back for alterations here!

My boyfriend dropped off my $569 dress (purchased at the end of August) to be cleaned after I wore it once. It was only lightly soiled, mostly from sweat under the arms. When we picked it up, I was shocked to find bleached-out spots along the hemline that completely ruined the dress. I brought it back and spoke with the owner, expecting her to take responsibility or at least offer a solution. Instead, she was disrespectful and dismissive, claiming I must have caused the damage myself after leaving the shop. There was no apology, no effort to make things right. After this experience, I will never trust Spruce Hill Cleaners again. If you value your clothes and want to be treated with respect, take your business elsewhere.

They do give it back but I dont need an extra trip and moving my laundry filled with detergent to another wash. It was always stressful. Now I came after over a year just to use the big machines, they have a card system, and I put in 26$ but the card only registered 10. Money lost again. And atm stopped working as well. Another customer gave me 20$ to help me out. I never gave a bad review in my life but I have enough of getting stressed out because of this place. Doing laundry shouldnt be this hard. Not coming back

They didn't know me as I had called a few minutes before and asked them if they could fix a sports top of mine that my dog had ripped the strap off of and then also fix my pants that were too long. They happily obliged. I was able to quickly go I into the makeshift dressing room they had, came out, and then one of the women got to work and started using pins to allocate the area that has to be trimmed. She was very patient and asked me if the length was ok several times. Whilst doing this and changing back into my other clothes, the other lady had already stitched the strap on my sports top. I was beyond happy. For my romper that they also offered to dry clean, they told me to return after a week and gave me a yellow ticket to note the date/time. I indeed returned about a week and half later to pick up my romper. It was neatly pressed and hemmed just right. They reminded me of a seamstress I went to back home in Miami. I feel lucky I found this store (thanks to Yelp of course). They had great reviews. How could I not? Should I need them again, I would definitely be back.

Items come back clean and neat and they will drop off your items at your building for you if you live close by! The staff here are really nice as well. I am not sure if the prices are considered reasonable or high as I have not checked out other dry cleaning places in the area but it usually comes out to ~$20 for a dress, $10 for a blouse.

Every time I come to her laundromat she is always watching me and following me around. When it is white or Asian people that come into the laundromat she is kind and greets them. She is rude to the black people that come here.She even came up to me to see what my sheets felt like and touched them without my consent. It's always a weird interaction every time. Today was a normal laundry day.I put money in the coin machine to wash my clothes in the laundromat. I added detergent to my load and let the washing machine do its job. Upon waiting for my load to get done, she stops me like why are you sitting there and questioned if I even was washing clothes there. She is very disrespectful. She came asking me over and over if I was washing clothes. I was very angry mad very affected by her treatment of a paying customer. Don't go here. She just takes black peoples money but doesn't treat them right.
