We had the pleasure of having dinner at this quaint family run restaurant. We were greeted with a friendly smile and were seated immediately. We started with the vegetable samosas which were deliciously crispy. I really enjoyed the mint chutney and tamarind sauce that accompanied the samosas. We ordered saag paneer and lamb vindaloo and plain naan. Everything was really yummy and we can't wait to go back when we are in town.

Great food and service!! Staff were very kind and gave us great suggestions for our first time in!

This lace has THE BEST Indian food in town!! I had previously enjoyed Its a Punjabi Affair, however this place blows them out of the water!! The service is expedient, friendly, and offers amazing suggestions! They even help cater to people with food allergies! I informed them of my allergies and they made a dish I really wanted to try special so that it didn't have those ingredients. The pricing is great (less than most other places too) and the atmosphere is very nice. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. If you love Indian food, this is the place to go!!

They offer both drive-up and dine-in, and we decided to eat inside. The cashier was incredibly friendly--she handed us menus, pointed out the specials, answered our questions, and took our order with a smile. I went with the 7-vegetable korma special and swapped the naan for papadum (GF). The korma was flavorful with just the right amount of spice, and it even included some paneer... yum! My partner ordered the chicken biryani with papadum and really enjoyed his meal as well. Overall, a great find on our road trip. We'd definitely stop by again the next time we're in Amarillo.

ORIGINAL POST: Had my food DoorDashed since I'm on a work trip and working at an office. The food arrived hot and fresh. Smelled absolutely amazing. I ordered a Naan-Wich Aka Shawarma, hot, with steak ($3.00 up charge). The hot was definitely about right for hot. Probably compared to a good hot wing. I'm sure spicy and extra spicy are hot-hot! Flavor overall was great. The naan was perfectly cooked. Now as for the steak, the quality was disappointing. The first bite I had a very hard piece that was inedible. You know, it happens. A few bites later another inedible piece, but wasn't as hard this time at least. Not a big deal, a couple pieces does happen, but turned out to be 3-4 pieces were inedible and I had to spit them out. Most of the edible pieces were a little chewy and possibly overcooked. Other than the steak, overall was pretty good. I would definitely be willing to give them another try... just not with steak. lol.

Naan Tacos come in threes and the man behind the counter was enthusiastic to suggest flavor profiles for each protein, especially for a first-time visitor who clearly knew her way around an Indian menu. I got two Desi Pollo (lightly curried cream chicken) and a Pastor (barbecued shreds of pork). On such solidly savory foundations, there was no way to go wrong with combinations of the 4 sauces he packaged for us--unless you don't do spicy. Besides the white cream, they all came with a kick. Hubs and I devoured all 3 tacos and I went back for a birria burrito, at which point the same guy also gave us a sample of the gyro...all of which were delicious. We're just passing through Amarillo, but we may have to stop by on our return trip while Westlake Mall is still operational.

The guy working behind the counter was also incredibly nice let me sample the chicken making my decision way easier.

Absolutely Disgusting - Worst Dining Experience Ever…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands down one of the most vile, inedible meals I've ever encountered. The food was so bad that no one at our table could stomach more than a bite. It looked awful, smelled worse, and tasted like it had been sitting out for days. Whoever is in that kitchen should not be allowed near food. The goat biryani? Oh my god. It looked like something you'd find in a dumpster after a food fight. The color was a sickly, off-yellow-brown, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. And the texture? I honestly thought it was vomit. Full of chunky, unappetizing onions, green peppers, and what I can only describe as the fat, skin, and bones of what was supposed to be goat meat. Not a single bite was edible. This was definitely a load of rubbery chunks of regret. To make matters worse, we were charged for items we never ordered. And the final insult? A can of Coke--just a regular, warm can--was $5.99. For real. Almost six bucks for something that costs 1.50 cents at a gas station. Save your money, your time, and your stomach. There are bad restaurants, and then there's this place. Avoid it like the plague.
