The doctor would not even talk to me. left Lourdes, the name of the medicine that was prescribed by the hospital she said she would have the doctor write. The prescription was a little concerned when she didn't ask where it should be refilled at called several times. No one answers the phone. Finally got a hold of them and told me that the doctor does not write prescription that he doesn't prescribe now I find myself going back to the hospital because the pain is unbearable. Think I made a big mistake by choosing this doctor if you're in pain, find someone else.

However, since my employer has changed insurance plans, the Doctor with whom I had established a relationship for several years is not in my new directory. Being proactive and recognizing the fact that I am not getting any younger, I decided to find a new family practice physician and go for a full check up just to be safe. Unfortunately, in this case I randomly chose this Dr. because her office is fairly close to my workplace and thus mildly convenient for me. I made the appointment about 3 weeks ago for an early morning appointment because I have already had experience with the way Doctors. practice here in Miami. I arrived promptly 15 minutes before my appointment time and was taken aback to see a full waiting room, my fears were confirmed when I signed in and noticed that there were at least 5 people ahead of me with appointment times before mine who still had not be seen. The front desk assistant was nice enough, in a Dr's office kind of way and retrieved my insurance card and driver's license and gave me a package of paperwork to fill out. After completing the paperwork, my appointment time had already come and went. Now I understand having to wait for some time, maybe 30 minutes if the Dr. is running behind because of her busy practice. But here's the kicker, a full hour after my appointment and before seeing the Dr. I was asked to pay the copay amount, at this point I inquired as to the whereabouts of the Dr., and I was casually informed that she hadn't arrived yet. REALLY !!!! There were no less than 10 people in that waiting room, most of whom had been waiting for an hour or more, and the Dr. hadn't bothered to show up yet. Again, I understand in the case of a surgeon, or a specialist that is caught in a surgery or procedure at the hospital, and even in those cases a display of respect towards the patients' time is appropriate by informing them of the delay. But to simply have the arrogance to show up late while there are people waiting is unconscionable. Again, I am fully aware that this is the norm at the family practice level here in Miami, but the fact that others engage in such a disrespectful and unethical behavior is no excuse for everyone else to do it. I get it ! you can cure people and you went to school for many years to develop your skills and knowledge, both me and my wife come from families of Doctors, but that does not give you the right to treat people like this. We are all equally important and additionally, it is not like we are asking for free service, we pay and pay generously for medical attention so we can and should expect respect and service. I will never know if this Doctor has the most outstanding relationship with her patients, or if she listens to your concerns and manages your health, or if her bedside manner is award winning. Because I will never meet Dr. Braceras. Someone in any occupation who treats people's time with such disregard will simply not get my business.

They were completely clueless as to what shots a 5 year old is required to have for school. In addition. They had no idea how to use the Florida Shots computer system. They basically told me they could give my daughter immunizations but could not register them in the state program, meaning I could not get her school forms. When I brought up an existing medical condition my daughter had been experiencing for close to two years, the doctor referred me to the emergency room! For a non emergency condition which this child had been treated for previously! Not to mention sick children screaming, running around, banging on glass windows and spreading their germs every where. She always interupts and talks over me. She really never gave me a chance to talk at all. I thought psychiatrists were meant to listen!!!???? Then Her idiot receptionist recorded an incorrect appointment time causing me to wait 40 minutes for my apt. Another time Dr Vegas started my session 10 min late and 10 min early. They did not prorate my session. Charged me full price. Then I had to leave town for work. I asked if they could call in my prescription and instead of calling in my normal 30 days. She only called for EXACTLY how many pills i needed until my next session. Causing me more money and time having to go back to the pharmacy again and causing me extra anxiety. I was so angry. This was the final straw for me. I called and left a long message saying I would never be returning to Dr Vegas office and that i felt she didnt care about her patients she only cared about making a buck. I was very clear i never would return. 2 weeks later. They called me to reschedule and appointment. I was surprised since I left a long angry message explaining that I would never come back!!!!!!! When i reminded the STUPID / non english speaking receptionist - she said fine...... AND CHARGED ME ANYWAY!!!!!!! $208!!!!!!!!! CROOKS!!!!!!! when i phoned back to ask why, the IDIOT receptionist said it was never cancelled because i didnt speak to her. i only left a message. Their voicemail says "if you would like to schedule, reschedule or cancel, leave a message" I DID!!!!! They refuse a refund. ive phoned 167 additional times. They blocked my call. Dr. Vega will not respond and I believe the receptionist screwed up and is not refusing to negotiate or refund because shes saving her own ass!!!! The only offer ive been given is to reschedule. I ABSOLUTELY HATE DR VEGA!!!!! why would i want to have to share the same air as her AGAIN!!!????? I hate being taken advantage of.... If you do to, then i suggest finding another psychologist. When my friend went to get his physical exam for the Cuban refugee visa, he was told it had to be paid in cash. He waited 4 hours to be seen. 3 weeks later when he came to get his results he had to wait another 3 hours. Meantime, a patient walked in after him and knew the receptionist so he was seen right away. They are very unprofessional.
