We initially used them for a project where we removed multiple walls, including a load-bearing exterior wall, and installed a 20-foot accordion door. It was a unique job, and they handled everything from installing the 900 lb. steel beam to hanging a wallpaper mural that required exact precision. And on the few things they had to sub out, like electrical, they brought in fairly priced, excellent subcontractors that we had great experiences with. On top of that, the guys at Legacy are punctual, professional, and just great people. There are a million small decisions to make during the process, and they always consulted us, but had very solid recommendations--whether it was how to handle unexpected issues that didn't show up in the architect's schematics or design elements like trim styles and shades of stain. They provided the best bid we received, stayed on budget, and completed the project ahead of time. I can't say enough good things about them. In a matter of weeks, they transformed our home, while minimizing the impact to our daily lives. We've since used them for smaller maintenance projects and are about to engage them for multiple other larger projects. We'll never look for another contractor again!

We hired Legacy for a full Kitchen Remodel, and we couldn't be happier with the job they did. We had met with several Kitchen and Bath Re-modelers, but the moment Dave and Matt walked into the house we knew they were the ones. Dave walked around the house and just noticed things everyone else (including myself) had missed. He offered advice and said "We'll fix that" to several little things I never even noticed. .We just hoped his bid would not come in too high. We were delighted when they came in at a very fair price. Not the lowest, but well under the highest, we booked them on the spot. On day 1, the crew showed up, and we immediately noticed that everyone that walked through our door was pleasant, thoughtful and meticulous about the jobs they were performing. Our job entailed moving walls, replacing exterior doors on top of the usual demo and cabinet install. The crew worked faster than I ever imagined. Demo was done in a day. The door was out, walls were taken down and parts of the kitchen were taken to the studs. By the second week cabinets were in and countertops were installed. As they were working on the kitchen we kept making the job a little bigger. Asking to redo floors in all the rooms downstairs, and while you're at it please paint the whole first floor as well. They handled all our requests with professionalism and courtesy. Dave always came back within a few days with a very fair quote. He was also very thoughtful about helping us to think through our requests. Whereas some contractors would be happy to take your money and do the work, Matt and Dave actually pointed out what I would actually gain for the money I would be spending. I would often ask their thoughts on whether or not something was worth doing and they would give me their honest opinion. Where most contractors told me I was looking at 8 weeks they have finished everything they promised me in just under 6 weeks and then pointed out I have some credits coming back to me. It has been a pleasure dealing with Matt and Dave, as well as their crew. I couldn't recommend them more. Thanks for a job well done and the beautiful kitchen my whole family and I will enjoy for years.

I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Alberto. If you value your time, money, and sanity,…read moredo yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. From the very beginning, their communication was abysmal. He rarely answered calls or emails, leaving us completely in the dark about the progress of our project. The quality of their work was shockingly poor. Walls were uneven, paint was sloppy, and they made countless errors that required expensive fixes. It was clear they lacked the necessary skills and experience. Their workers were consistently late, and on several occasions, they didn't show up at all, causing significant delays. To make matters worse, they went way over budget without any prior warning or explanation. When we questioned the additional charges, they became defensive and rude. Their lack of professionalism and respect was astounding. All of the good reviews are made up. !!!!!!!!!!!!!AVOID ALBERTO AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our condo had been completely ruined by a flood caused by a burst water pipe, leading to catastrophic mold damage. We had to move out, and our home was stripped down to the studs. The floors, cabinets, and drywall were all gone. At one point, it honestly felt like the place might never be livable again. Andrew came in and completely turned that around. He restored our home into something beautiful, comfortable, and truly exciting to live in again. From the very beginning, he was kind, charismatic, and genuinely listened to all of our concerns. This wasn't an easy project, and there were a few bumps along the way, but whenever something came up, Andrew heard us out and immediately worked to make it right. He always made sure we were happy with the outcome. What meant the most to me was how supportive and reliable he was throughout the entire process. He guided me step by step, treated me with care, and took so much stress off my shoulders. On top of the construction itself, Andrew skillfully handled a complicated situation involving the property management company and insurance reimbursement. In the end, he completed the entire project within the amount provided by insurance, and the results exceeded my expectations. I've included photos to show just how severe the damage was and how incredible my home looks now. What once felt like a total loss has been fully rebuilt thanks to Andrew and his talented team. I'm deeply grateful for his work and recommend him to anyone who wants a contractor they can truly trust.

I live out of state and had to arrange everything from a distance. I was in town for one week to help my non-English speaking parents with the job. Many contractors we spoke with were tardy or rude. After an exhaustive search I decided to hire Home Care Waterproofing. They proved to be wonderful. The work was meticulously done. The workers were professional and respectful and the owners of the business supervised the entire job. Asad and Mohammed were very responsive and made sure to accommodate to my timeline. They were also very patient with my parents. Because I cannot climb on top of the roof during the job, Asad even sent me progress pictures. The price was very reasonable. The owners were very honest. My father asked for extra aluminum drip edges around the small alcove and Home Care Waterproofing did it without extra cost. This is a family run business and they took great pride in providing the best customer experience available. It is rare to find such a great contractor. We are waiting for our first big rain and will post an update. So far everything looks beautiful!

I've personally had two jobs done by them; a Hardie siding job and a basement rehab. They are fast, professional, courteous, and communicative. They never leave a mess and their carpenters as well as all of the subs they use (they are a GC, of course they use subs) are consummate professionals. Will you find someone to do your project for less? Maybe. However, the old adage is still true; pick two; good, fast, cheap. Brown and Glynn is definitely (very) good and fast and in my humble opinion, I would rather do it right the first time.

Firstly and most important to me is that these people are honest and their quote for the work was very reasonable and the result was excellent. After getting two other quotes from other contractors and vetting the other two contractors, one of which was on Angie's List and he was clearly the worst as he had a criminal record for taking customers deposits and then not doing the work quoted which made me wonder if Angie's List does any research on the contractors they represent, it doesn't seem so. In any case I had a half bath that needed a complete renovation and thankfully they said they really didn't need to gut the sheet rock which saved a lot of money and time. The end result was incredible and the job made my half bath look like it had just been built from scratch, quite a feat given the bath was about 20 years old. I would highly recommend these people to do anything when it comes to kitchen, bath remodeling as well as outdoor decking. They showed me pictures of their work before I agreed to use them. All in all my experience was very positive and professional and I plan on having them do additional work for me. Generally speaking I am very suspect of all contractors as that industry suffers from a poor reputation because many of them say they can do whatever you want done as long as they get your money and then it's too late so my recommendation is genuine. This is a family business that's been around for some time and they deliver what they say they will which works for me and in this segment of the industry these people are honest and they know their business which is everything.
