This was my first visit with Catherine Sollar. Wow is all I can say. Extremely knowledgably and explained things to me that my primary would just over look or dismiss. Yes I had to site for awhile in the waiting room, but what doctors office doesn't. I saw complaints about this from another reviewer. There is a reason why it takes so long to get into see here. I was in with her for almost 45 minutes! Excellent bedside manner and genuine concern. Thank you Sage Specialty Care. read more

The staff that checked me in and prepared me for my visit with Catherine were caring, efficient and professional. I never have a problem getting what I need when calling in or communicating via the portal. Catherine's knowledge, education and experience are evident. She is up on the latest research and I trust her completely; however, her most important attribute is her level of genuine caring about me, as a whole person. How one treats the least of us tells the story. Thank you, Catherine, I appreciate you so much. read more

I was cut off from my diabetic medication without warning for not making an appointment. I don't understand how Dr. Sera could knowingly do this and leave me without the proper equipment to treat myself, it feels spiteful and unprofessional. I was not given any sort of warning or sent any messages before being cut off, leaving me with very little options. I was told to schedule an appointment in order to continue receiving my diabetic supplies, when appointments can take weeks to book (but I would not know because I was told to make an appointment ONE HOUR before they closed for the entire weekend)! read more

I appreciated the care I received from this office. Great experience from start to end. Thank you Catherine for your support.

I don't know any doctors office that doesn't call and leave a message or text the day before an appointment , to confirm it, maybe they should start, because if you miss, they charge you $130. I felt like it was a scam. Although I did miss a view appointments, the final straw, they schedule a virtual appointment for me, and when I realized in the day of the appointment, that I didn't have the link to my virtual visit, I called and was told they don't do virtual appointment. He made it seem like it wasn't a problem, but I received a letter shortly after, dropping me as a client for missed appointments, again, without any confirmation texts or calls. I then struggled without medication and needed to get a new primary care physician to refer me to a endo again, to get my medication. The process took so long, and I ended up in urgent care with severe symptoms. Very disappointed in how I was left, and I feel the main issue was the desk staff. Maybe they should drop them, instead of their patients read more

Their customer service is very lacking. You get a call back after several days. If they answer the phone you'll be waiting for at least 20 minutes. They have never had my prescription filled correctly. read more

During COVID 19 this is the ONLY Doctor that is NOT doing Telehealth. Having multiple issues that could cause me to die from Covid, I did not want to take a chance and go in. Now, because I cancelled the NP appt there (Catherine Soller) states she will no longer prescribe medication for me. Every other specialist in the area, that my family sees, does Telehealth. For them to immediately stop prescribing without trying to figure out ways to see an at risk patient is down right malpractice. read more

I really like Sage Specialty Care. They take care of my diabetes and hypothyroidism. My A1C levels have been coming down really well. I'm 80, and they treat me like a functioning adult. Sage Specialty was on the list that Presbyterian Health Services gave me, so Pres covers the visits. read more

Do NOT go to Sage!!! This place commits insurance fraud. They do not return calls and do not refund money when they screw up their billing charges. I am reporting them to the NM Office of Superintendent of Insurance for fraudulent insurance billing practices. read more

Yes, nice people here. But Beware of billing!!! Wife went in for her routine checkup. She said they asked her if they can look/check her feet. She has diabetes. This is a free service with our primary Dr. every time she see's him. Primary Dr care's about her health. But with Sage Specialty we got billed for her 3 minute check of her feet. Insurance paid some. But we still own $140.+... just for checking her feet. I questioned about this deceptive practice. Asked Why did they not tell her this is a $200 charge. After months of me asking why the dishonesty they took it off. Oh, they never gave me a answer.. Well, 4 months later they started billing us again. We will not go back. Ever. But they are very nice. Till you get a bill. read more

I've been pretty happy with this provider; they're responsive and I enjoy the waiting area and friendly staff. I'm seen on time when I come for appointments. I've been seeing her for about 6 months now, getting BIOTE pellets implanted. We're still working on my thyroid levels, but so far, it's going well. I also appreciate that I can communicate through a patient portal and get copies of lab results, etc. I feel like Catherine Sollar pays attention to me and cares about me as a person. The most Ive had to wait is about 15 minutes past my appointment time, but it was at the end if the day. I work in healthcare, so I know that sometimes things take longer than they should. read more

My doc is Melissa Pino, she is awesome but the facility she works at is horrible. My very first visit the older gentleman at the front desk was VERY unprofessional. I arrived 15mins early and ended up be 30mins late to my appointment, because he was having a hard time explaining, making copies providing patients with the correct paperwork. During my visit I was told front desk would reach out and give me my info on where to go per ultrasounds and EKG.. two weeks past and the older gentleman is telling me they have nothing on file... I asked to have my doc call me back.. that took two days. I had to reschedule my follow up appointment and been calling for 4 days NOW and bo one has returned my calls. I DO NOT recommend coming to Sage Specialty Care they do not care for your health as if it was their own or maybe a loved one. Staff is good but need to reconsider replacing that older gentleman I would think he was racist if I didn't know any better.. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

One of the only endocrinologists in town, and extremely disappointing. Books appointments several months out and then, once I arrived on time for my appointment, there was still an hour and a half wait to see the doctor. When I finally saw her, instead of discussing my analysis she talked about her son during almost the whole visit, because he wants to get into the industry I'm in. Thanks doc. Too bad Dr. Terry Edwards retired, he was an a amazing endocrinologist and now patients are left with very poor options like this one, Dr. Cathy Soller. read more

Poorest of Patient Care! I was written Prolia for Osteoporosis, then the office never put in the Prior Auths for it, never fought for it with the insurance at all, I was just to be left without Care! Someone else in my home had a blood thinner written by specialist MD; this office faxed an order to his pharmacy to cancel ALL his prescriptions and never notified my room mate at all. So my room mate was just to do without his blood thinners in retaliation for his having filed against the NP at this office?! RUN! Do not walk away from Sage Speciality Care! RUN for your life! read more

I find the staff friendly, inviting, and the office was Very clean! My visit with Catherine Sollar was awesome! I found her to be informative, personable, calming, and knowledgeable about my thyroid disease. It has taken me awhile to find a doctor to go to, but I think I have finally found her! read more

I LOVE Sage Specialty Care: Cathy Soller and the whole staff are amazing! She helped me a lot with the pellets (HRT), only putting them when it is the right time and with that gaining my energy back and being myself again! read more
