I have gone here 4 times as a New Patient, first appointment cleaning, then 2 crowns, cavity & two front fillings. Had I payed attention to previous reviews I would never have gone here but I make my own judgement of any business. The staff here from the receptionists, to the technicians, to the hygienist and Dr Sarah Moussally were amazing. Friendly, appointments right on time, helpful, efficient and my work was done perfectly. Dr Sarah is an artist and my front teeth look perfect, and my two crowns look so natural. My hygienist was great and I can continue with her for cleanings. Prices were reasonable compared to what my friends said it cost them for the same work they had done at their dentist as I had done. If you are in need of dental work I highly recommend this business in Tavares. If I could do more than 5 stars I would! read more

This company was formally Morgan Dental, who I liked when they reopened as Sage and they were listed as covering me under my insurance, I called, told them what insurance I had and they said no problem, BIG PROBLEM NOW they are saying I'm not covered and owe them money, bad company and bad customer service and just downright rude people. My wife and I will not use this dentist and I'm sure they are devastated by their loss of us! read more

They don't answer the phone, return phone messages, emails ir text. In person they are rude and unprofessional. They will answer the review with - "patient feedback@mysagedental.com" Also, no response there! My fault. Should have noticed the have a one star rating. Probably the worst in central Florida! I can sum it all up in just a few words. Pain free and very reasonable. The first thing I worry about when going to the Dentist is pain in procedure and price. I was told I needed two crowns and feared the worst. Went in and was totally surprised. Dr Sara did both crowns for me at the same time with no pain at all, even the Novocaine was painless. When I went up to check out, ,Julie at the front desk, made that process easy and painless through my insurance company. I just want to say I'am in my late 70's and this was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a Dental Office. Everybody in the office was friendly and helpful. read more

These guys are bad news. Dr. Morgan was great. The new owners are running a mill - minimize service, maximize the number of patients per day and charge as much as possible. I am in excellent dental health, never had an issue before, but went in for a cleaning and was charged over $1500, with them saying they had to add on a lot of extra services. New patient after not going to a dentist for years and went in because I am experiencing pain. They welcomed me in and took X-rays. Then took me in the back to take more X-rays. The technician explained nothing. The thing that needed to be in my mouth wasn't fitting properly in the position the technician wanted. When I said that it was not fitting and hurt she said, "well, this will take longer if want to fight about it." Who's fighting? Then, because she had taken the X-rays for the problem area, she said that she could do a partial or a full visit this time so that my pain issue could be dealt with. I said that I needed more information to choose because she never explained anything upfront. Another tech stepped in and took over the X-rays. Then, the dentist reviews the X-rays and let's me know I don't have a cavity, which is what I had suspected, but doesn't give me any real information as to why I have been in pain for 2 weeks, except maybe it is gum related. He grinds down a chipped tooth and walks away. The hygienist stops by and prods my teeth and saying a string of 3 numbers for each tooth and then walks away. Then I am told I am done. No cleaning. No real clues to the source of my pain. Then I go to pay. The receptionist asks how my visit was and I say that not getting a cleaning is idiotic. She says, well we don't know what we are dealing with." But they knew I am a new patient and that I haven't been to a dentist in years. A cleaning should have been a very safe assumption for any new patient. I said, "I am not here to fight with you. At this point it won't change anything, so it is not worth it." She give me a look. Then, looking at my insurance card, she asked if I called my insurance company. I said, "no." She said, "well, you have to select us as your dentist or the visit is not covered." I had selected them online, so there wasn't any reason for me to call the insurance company. I said, "that is not what you asked and yes I did select you as my primary dentist." I get another look. Finally, I ask about a follow up appointment, ya know, for the cleaning, etc. she tells me they are scheduling in June and offers June 6. I ask for something a little later in the month and get offered June 28. I didn't say the end of the month. We figure out a day and I get yet another look. I was not going in with a bad mood, tried to be compliant, but to also say when things were not going right and I get accused of fighting or being difficult. All they did was take a few X-rays and at least told me I don't have a cavity, but left me no better off than when I walked in. Needless to say, I will be canceling my June appointment and going somewhere that doesn't have an attitude problem and will actually do something more than a few pictures. This place sucks. Just do not go. Upsell, lies, long wait times? This shit hole has them all. "Oh 3-4 here oh 3-4 here number this number that." Dentist comes in and checked teeth and said "2 here 2.5 here" after checking my teeth out she told the other lady to start over on the initial assessment. I "needed a deep cleaning" after seeing a dentist for 10 years and 2 cleanings a year. Bad business ladies and gentleman. read more

I've just moved to Florida and made this appointment for my semi-annual cleaning and check up. It was 7-weeks until they could get me in. I filled out the paperwork online and arrived 5 minutes early. I had all my X-rays from my previous dentist and sent them over. My appointment was at 1:00 and I got called in at 1:45. They took another panoramic x-Ray because the other one was blurry. I was only examined by Dr Morgan, took less than 5 minutes. He was very nice but I do wonder if he is going to be retiring soon. After his inspection, then the assistant had to write on my chart so I was sent back to the waiting room. After 10 minutes in the waiting room they finally made my appointment for the cleaning, 7 more weeks! I was also informed that you only see the dentist every other visit. The office schedule lady was a bit rude and I am so frustrated with this place. I'm not sure how this will all be billed with the insurance and I'm likely going to look for another dental office. Will see how the cleaning goes, if I decide to keep that appointment. read more

Only went here because we couldn't get into another dentists office. My husband and I have been going to a dentists every 6 months without any issues. We only switched because we moved from west palm. When we went in for our original first patient check up we both left there with a laundry list of issues we had. I didn't feel happy then but I set up my cleaning declining all the extras they wanted to through on. When it came to my cleaning day all those items I declined were still on my appointment. When I started declining everything and telling her I'm just here for a cleaning she got rushed and rough with my cleaning. She maybe spent 15 minutes doing the whole cleaning. My last dentists office took an hour to do this cleaning. Then she put fluoride on my teeth, not telling me it's extra or ASKING if I wanted it. When I went to check out the rude older lady in the front (she was rude when I checked out tue first time declining all the extras and come to find out she still scheduled them anyway without respect to my wishes of not wanting to do them.) said but u had it done. And I replied I didn't ask for it and I wasn't told it was extra. She did remove the charge and I didn't have to pay. However I feel they are not here to clean teeth they are there to upsell u on anything extra they can to make more money. Find a different dentist even if you have to wait to get in. Don't give this place ur money!! read more

Then could reschedule me in JULY OF NEXT YEAR. Really? Corporate greed again ruining a business. Office manager confirmed all changes since Sage took over. Very unprofessional. I've gone to Dr Morgan for 2 years, referred many patients even tho the red flags flew on my first visit. I could hear the staff discussing a "gross" patient by name while in the waiting room. Gave that a pass.2 years later I need a partial, 1st visit they failed to give me "schedule",paid in full, I asked how long, told 5 weeks, on my 3rd visit,6 wks in, Elizabeth was rude because I questioned the process, I told Elizabeth she needed a refresher course for customer service and she told me I was the one that needed it!!!! she continued her unprofessional behavior as she slammed my folder shut on the counter at check out and in extremely rude tone, she bid me a good day. Katy said I should have been given schedule,yet Never once did she or anyone apologize that I was not given one or misunderstood their process and was upset.I left,called office and spoke w/Katy, she said she would refund my money and I could go elsewhere,then said she would have to get Dr. Morgans approval for refund and would call me back today. I will be surprised if I hear from her. My next visit to the office will be with a video recording their bad performance, then I will post it on YouTube. Dr Morgan can't possibly condone his office staff's bad behavior? A 7:30a appointment, 8:20 called back...a 40 minute wait should warrant at least one "Ms Smith, we'll be with you shortly".
