Was advised by a friend to call to ensure they had the part, so in the AM called to confirm they had the part as it's an hour drive to their shop. They confirmed they have the part. I don't always take the time to right a review unless I've had a really really good experience or a really really bad one. In this case it's GOOD! This is only my second time having to get my windshield repaired, and this time it was a replacement. I wasn't expecting that because GEICO doesn't seem to be aware that Vermont requires a replacement if a crack is more than the size of a quarter, not the usual dollar bill from where I moved. However, before I even learned that I had missed my afternoon appointment and they were happy to reschedule me for the next morning. But when I arrived the next day, that's when I learned I needed a replacement instead of a repair. They were able to schedule me back the very next day. And they did an awesome job! It looks as good as new. The people there are also super professional and friendly every time I've stepped in the place. Hopefully I won't ever need another windshield repair, but I know where I'm going as long as I'm living in Barre! read more

I went in at 9 (although they open at 8) and two people tackled my windshield, so it literally too less than 30 mins! I paid in-full online beforehand, so the process was smooth and easy. Normally I would not be writing a review of a Windshield Place. Usually if I am in a windshield repair place I am in a bad mood. However, this place is terrific. I showed up for my appointment and they got started only to find that the price they quoted me on the website was different from the price "the computer" was saying. This situation rarely ends well but they were friendly about it and just concentrated on "fixing it" which meant messing with the computer and giving me the windshield at the price I was quoted. Then when they took my windshield off they discovered a big mouse nest in the air vent (the car had been sitting for a while) and cleaned it all out for me and were amused but not jerky about it, they even gave me an air freshener to make my car smell nicer. Then there was some rust under the windshield which they fixed right up. All along the way they kept me posted about the progress of my install even as a 90-minute appointment stretched into almost three hours. They were incredibly gracious about this even as I felt like a goof for having such a mess of a car. Their waiting room had good wifi, free coffee and a clean bathroom. I sat there while probably a dozen customers went in and out and they were friendly and courteous to everyone, explaining the nuances of insurance and windshield repair over and over. I was not at all looking forward to this visit and walked out of there in a much better mood than I went in. This place is great and you should get your windshield fixed there. Tell them the lady with the giant mouse nest sent you. read more

These Guys were great! I have a new model hybrid and the windshield with plastic insert part had to be special ordered. Long delay due to "supply chain" but these Guys called and kept me up to date. Got me in as soon as parts were available.Time to fix took less than three hours. I would definitely recommend! read more

I don't do reviews, however the Barre Montpelier Road location is fantastic. This is not the first time I have been in for glass repair, due to all the interstate driving I do 5 days a week. your treated like gold, and who doesn't like to be treated that way. TV, Coffee, warm waiting room with windows so you can see exactly what's being done. Estimated time was exact and I love that they ask if you need wipers for your windshield and don't charge out of this world prices. read more

Stay away! Not sure what happened, always had good experiences in the past... This time they caused over $1000 damage to our truck while removing the windshield. What's worse, tried to claim it was minor and ship it off to a buddy's shop for a cheap weld. Had to take a day off without pay to deal with the fiasco. All the guys could do was grunt. Manager wasn't there and never called the next day as promised. The repair required removing the dash(!), properly welding sliced steel, priming and painting to specs, etc. Even the bodyshop guy who did the repair was shocked. Rental car for a week. Never an apology. Manager told bodyshop he thought repair was "excessive". Excessive?!! Your guy sliced through 10 inches of the steel truck body!! At least the guy who did it fessed up or we wouldn't have known. A search online revealed this has happened before with the removal tool they use, but a new windshield hides the damage when installed over it. How many out there weren't told?!!! read more

I've had to come here twice in the last year because of rocks that were kicked up on the highway. They were professional and fairly quick (less than 2 hours). They are right down the road from my house, so it was convenient. They have wifi, but it was slow so I was unable to do any work while there. They have plenty of coffee. I would come here again and I'm sure I will have to! read more
